Contributions of the tutorial education program: a study with graduates from the Conexão de Saberes em Física e Popularização da Ciência group at Unifei-Itabira

Resumo: This work reveals the perceptions of the graduates of the Connection of Knowledge in Physics and Popularization of Science group, both from the point of view of contributions to training while graduating and professional, and to the objectives of the tutorial education program (PET). Since its creation in 2010 at Unifei-Itabira, the group has developed teaching, research and extension activities at the university and community of Itabira and region. The objective is to show qualitatively and quantitatively the contributions of PET in the graduate's life. This investigation was carried out through a survey carried out via an electronic form. The results show a high contribution regarding critical and academic education, social contribution, stimulating teaching and professional. They also show that over 90% of graduates are inserted in the labor market and 50% continue to study. The activities developed by the group contribute significantly to the training of students, develop leadership, public speaking, creativity and altruism. In addition, due to the various extension and teaching activities involving the community, the tutorial education program brings other benefits to the university, such as the university's positive exposure to society.

Desde su creación en 2010 en Unifei-Itabira, el grupo ha desarrollado actividades de docencia, investigación y extensión en la Universidad y comunidad de Itabira y región. El objetivo es mostrar cualitativa y cuantitativamente los aportes del PET en la vida del egresado. Esta investigación se llevó a cabo mediante una encuesta realizada a través de un formulario electrónico. Los resultados muestran una alta contribución en cuanto a educación crítica y académica, contribución social, estimulante docente y profesional. También muestran que más del 90% de los graduados se insertan en el mercado laboral y el 50% continúa estudiando. Las actividades desarrolladas por el grupo contribuyen significativamente a la formación de los estudiantes, desarrollan el liderazgo, la oratoria, la creatividad y el altruismo. Además, debido a las diversas actividades de extensión y docencia que involucran a la comunidad, el programa de educación tutorial trae otros beneficios a la Universidad, como la exposición positiva de la Universidad a la sociedad.Este trabalho revela as percepções dos egressos do grupo Conexão de Saberes em Física e Popularização da Ciência, tanto do ponto de vista das contribuições para a formação enquanto graduando e profissional, quanto para os objetivos do programa de educação tutorial (PET). Desde sua criação em 2010 na Unifei-Itabira, o grupo desenvolve atividades de ensino, pesquisa e extensão na universidade e comunidade de Itabira e região. O objetivo é mostrar de forma qualitativa e quantitativa as contribuições do PET na vida do egresso. Esta investigação foi feita por meio de pesquisa realizada via formulário eletrônico. Os resultados mostram alta contribuição quanto à formação crítica e acadêmica, contribuição social, estímulo à docência e profissional.
