Resumo: The present work aimed to determine the effects of the application of K and Mg on the vegetative and productive development of the banana 'Prata Anã' (Musa spp.) irrigated with alkaline water from an underground aquifer. The experiment was conducted in the fruit sector of the IFNMG-Campus Januária. The doses of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 g / family per month were tested with magnesium sulfate; and 20, 40, 60, 80 and 120 g / family per month with potassium chloride combined by the experimental Double Square matrix (incomplete); and a witness with omission in the supply of potassium and magnesium fertilizers. The characteristics of vegetative development (circumferences at 0.3 and 1.3 m in height of the pseudostem) and productive (mass of clump, mass of the second clump, number of fruits of the second clump, number of fruit per cluster, number of bunches per bunch, mass of the central fruit, length and diameter of the central fruits of the 2nd bunch and stalk mass). The evaluated characteristics, number of clumps and length of the three central fruits of the second clump were not significantly affected by the applied doses of fertilizers K and Mg. The estimates of maximum fertilizer efficiency occurred when combining the following doses of MgSO4 fertilizer with 120 g of KCl for most of the evaluated characteristics. The linear models for the potassium chloride factor indicate the need for further research in order to determine inflection points for this fertilizer for the characteristics evaluated in the present work.

El experimento se realizó en el sector frutícola del IFNMG-Campus Januária. Las dosis de 5, 10, 15, 20 y 30 g / familia por mes se analizaron con sulfato de magnesio; y 20, 40, 60, 80 y 120 g / familia por mes con cloruro de potasio combinado por la matriz experimental de doble cuadrado (incompleta); y un testigo con omisión en el suministro de fertilizantes de potasio y magnesio. Las características del desarrollo vegetativo (circunferencias a 0.3 y 1.3 m de altura del pseudotallo) y productivo (masa del grupo, masa del segundo grupo, número de frutos del segundo grupo, número de frutos por racimo, número de racimos por racimo, masa del fruto central, longitud y diámetro de los frutos centrales del segundo racimo y masa del tallo). Las características evaluadas, el número de grupos y la longitud de los tres frutos centrales del segundo grupo no se vieron significativamente afectados por las dosis aplicadas de fertilizantes K y Mg. Las estimaciones de la eficiencia máxima del fertilizante se produjeron al combinar las siguientes dosis de fertilizante de MgSO4 con 120 g de KCl para la mayoría de las características evaluadas. Los modelos lineales para el factor de cloruro de potasio indican la necesidad de más investigación para determinar los puntos de inflexión de este fertilizante para las características evaluadas en el presente trabajo.O presente trabalho teve como objetivo determinar os efeitos da aplicação de K e Mg sobre o desenvolvimento vegetativo e produtivo da banana ‘Prata Anã’ (Musa spp.) irrigada com água alcalina oriunda de aquífero subterrâneo. O experimento foi conduzido no setor de fruticultura do IFNMG-Campus Januária. Testaram-se as doses de 5, 10, 15, 20 e 30 g/família ao mês com sulfato de magnésio; e 20, 40, 60, 80 e 120 g/família ao mês com cloreto de potássio combinadas pela matriz experimental do Quadrado Duplo (incompleto); e uma testemunha com omissão no fornecimento de adubações potássica e magnesiana. Foram avaliadas as características de desenvolvimento vegetativo (circunferências a 0,3 e 1,3 m de altura do pseudocaule) e produtivo (massa de penca, massa da 2ª penca, número de frutos da 2ª penca, número de fruto por cacho, número de pencas por cacho, massa do fruto central, comprimento e diâmetro dos frutos centrais da 2ª penca e massa do engaço). As características avaliadas, número de pencas e comprimento dos três frutos centrais da segunda penca não foram afetadas significativamente pelas doses aplicadas dos fertilizantes K e Mg. As estimativas de máxima eficiência das adubações ocorreram ao combinar as seguintes doses do fertilizante MgSO4 com 120 g de KCl para a maioria das características avaliadas.
