Resumo: Objective: To map the technical knowledge of health professionals regarding the management of syphilis and its relationship with Permanent Education in Health. Methodology: An integrative review study, carried out in the period of November 2020. 793 publications were found, 459 on the Portal VHL and 334 on the CAPES Journal Portal. The final sample consisted of 10 articles, being 08 articles from the VHL Portal and 02 articles from the CAPES Periodical Portal. Results: The methodological approach was entirely quantitative in terms of congenital syphilis and syphilis in pregnancy, with 3 international and 7 national studies. Knowledge gaps were found such as the definition of cases of congenital syphilis, the use of serological tests and the choice of antibiotic alternatives for the treatment of pregnant women allergic to penicillin. Only two studies used technological tools for permanent education and demonstrated a positive effect in increasing the knowledge of health professionals. Conclusion: It is necessary to publish more studies that evaluate knowledge and the production of Permanent Education in Health tools to improve the quality of syphilis management.

Metodología: Estudio de revisión integradora, realizado en el período de noviembre de 2020. Se encontraron 793 publicaciones, 459 en el Portal BVS y 334 en el portal de revistas CAPES. La muestra final estuvo conformada por 10 artículos, siendo 08 artículos del Portal BVS y 02 artículos del Portal Periódico CAPES. Resultados: El abordaje metodológico fue totalmente cuantitativo en los temas de sífilis congénita y sífilis en el embarazo, con 3 estudios internacionales y 7 nacionales. Se encontraron lagunas de conocimiento como la definición de casos de sífilis congénita, el uso de pruebas serológicas y la elección de alternativas antibióticas para el tratamiento de gestantes alérgicas a la penicilina. Solo dos estudios utilizaron herramientas tecnológicas para la educación permanente y demostraron un efecto positivo en el aumento del conocimiento de los profesionales de la salud. Conclusión: Es necesario publicar más estudios que evalúen el conocimiento y la producción de herramientas de Educación Permanente en Salud para mejorar la calidad del manejo de la sífilis.Objetivo: Mapear o conhecimento técnico dos profissionais de saúde quanto ao manejo da sífilis e a sua relação com a Educação Permanente em Saúde. Metodologia: Estudo de revisão integrativa, realizado no período de novembro de 2020. Foram encontradas 793 publicações, sendo 459 no Portal BVS e 334 no Portal de Periódicos CAPES. A amostra final foi constituída por 10 artigos sendo 08 artigos do Portal BVS e 02 artigos do Portal Periódicos CAPES. Resultados: A abordagem metodológica foi na totalidade quantitativa nas temáticas sífilis congênita e sífilis na gestação, sendo 3 estudos internacionais e 7 nacionais. Lacunas de conhecimento foram encontradas como definição de casos de sífilis congênita, uso de testes sorológicos e escolha alternativas de antibióticos para tratamento de gestantes alérgicas à penicilina. Apenas dois estudos utilizaram ferramentas tecnológicas para educação permanente e demonstraram efeito positivo no incremento do conhecimento dos profissionais de saúde.
