Resumo: | This research aims to analyze the performance of concrete with addition of bamboo ash, check the consistency obtained after the curing process, determine the compressive strength at 28 days of curing, evaluate the water absorption capacity and the voids index conventional and gray concrete. 20 specimens were molded and the data collection was done through laboratory tests. The percentages replaced by cement with ash were 0.5%, 1.0% and 1.5%. As the material added is highly pozzolanic, it was previously ground to increase the degree of fineness and, thus, its granulometry was compatible with that of cement. The results obtained, for the trace of 1.5% ash, showed the greatest workability with 50.75% more consistent than the conventional one. Regarding strength, the traces with contents of 0.5% and 1.0% of BW were satisfactory reaching about 9.5% and 3%, respectively, more favorable compared to the reference concrete. The 1.5% had a resistance deficit of 2.5%, compared to the conventional one. Regarding absorption, the trace with 1.5% ash was the one that obtained the best absorption index (1.25%). In relation to the void’s indices, the traces with CB were not conclusive. Thus, it can be concluded that the fluidity of the cementitious matrix is improved with the addition of ash and that concretes with these additions tend to be more durable. |

Fueron moldeados 20 muestras y la recolección de los datos fueron hechas mediante ensayos laboratoriales. Los porcentajes sustituidos del cemento por la ceniza fueron de 0,5%, 1,0%, y 1,5%. Como el material agregado es altamente puzolánico, el mismo fue previamente molido para aumentar el grado de afinación y, así, su granulometría estuviera compatible con la del cemento. Los resultados obtenidos, para el tablero de 1,5% de ceniza fue el que presentó una mayor trabajabilidad con 50,75% más consistencia que el convencional. En la resistencia, los tableros con 0,5% y 0,1% de CB resultó satisfactorio llegando alrededor de 9,5% y 3%, respectivamente, más favorable en comparación con el hormigón de referencia. El 1,5% tuvo un déficit de resistencia del 2.5%, en comparación con el convencional. En cuanto a la absorción, la traza con 1,5% de cenizas fue la que obtuvo el mejor índice de absorción (1,25%). En cuanto a los índices nulos, las características con CB no fueron concluyentes. Por lo tanto, se puede concluir que la fluidez de la matriz cementosa se mejora con la adición de cenizas y que los hormigones con estas adiciones tienden a ser más duraderos.Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar o desempenho do concreto com adição de cinza do bambu, verificar a consistência obtida após o processo de cura, determinar a resistência à compressão aos 28 dias de cura, avaliar a capacidade de absorção de água e o índice de vazios dos concretos convencionais e com cinza. Foram moldados 20 corpos de prova de concreto e a coleta de dados foi feita através de ensaios laboratoriais. As porcentagens substituídas do cimento por cinza foram 0,5%, 1,0% e 1,5%. Como o material adicionado é altamente pozolânico, o mesmo foi previamente moído para aumentar o grau de finura e, assim, a sua granulometria tivesse compatibilidade com a do cimento. Os resultados obtidos, para o traço de 1,5% de cinza foi o que apresentou uma maior trabalhabilidade com 50,75% mais consistente que o convencional. Na resistência, os traços com 0,5% e 1,0% de CB mostraram-se satisfatórios atingindo 9,5% e 3%, respectivamente, mais favorável quando comparado ao concreto de referência. A de 1,5% teve um déficit de resistência de 2,5%, em relação ao convencional. Em relação a absorção o traço com 1,5% de cinza foi o que obteve melhor índice (1,25%) de absorção. No que se refere aos índices de vazios, os traços com CB não foram conclusivos.
