Low adherence of women to cytopathological examination: Experience report

Resumo: The study has as its theme low adherence of women to the cytopathological exam: an experience report, which was carried out through a situation observed in the Basic Health Unit (UBS), located in the municipality of Irecê-Ba, through the implementation of the Strategic Planning Situational, lasting from August to December 2022, it aims to: Increase women's adherence to cytopathological examination at UBS in Irecê-BA. This is an experience report, descriptive, with a qualitative approach, the collection in the database occurred via VHL using the Boolean operator “AND”, with the following Descriptors in Health Sciences: Cytopathological examination; Cervical cancer; preventive, articles used as a basis are from the last five years. The results show the low adherence to the cytopathological test by women, which is linked to women's perception and factors such as low income, education and religion, in addition to the need for the UBS team to capture these users and understand the factors of non-performance, in addition to training of professionals and humanization in order to offer a qualified and humanistic service. It is concluded that low knowledge on the part of women and greater proximity of primary care with users.

It is concluded that low knowledge on the part of women and greater proximity of primary care with users.El estudio tiene como tema la baja adherencia de las mujeres al examen citopatológico: relato de experiencia, que fue realizado a partir de una situación observada en la Unidad Básica de Salud (UBS), ubicada en el municipio de Irecê-Ba, a través de la implementación del Planificación Estratégica Situacional, con duración de agosto a diciembre de 2022, tiene como objetivo: Aumentar la adhesión de las mujeres al examen citopatológico en la UBS de Irecê-BA. Se trata de un relato de experiencia, descriptivo, con abordaje cualitativo, la recolección en la base de datos ocurrió vía BVS utilizando el operador booleano “AND”, con los siguientes Descriptores en Ciencias de la Salud: Examen citopatológico; Cáncer de cuello uterino; preventivo, los artículos utilizados como base son de los últimos cinco años. Los resultados muestran la baja adherencia al test citopatológico por parte de las mujeres, lo que está vinculado a la percepción de las mujeres y a factores como baja renta, escolaridad y religión, además de la necesidad del equipo de la UBS de captar a estas usuarias y comprender los factores de no desempeño, además de formación de profesionales y humanización para ofrecer un servicio calificado y humanista. Se concluye que bajo conocimiento por parte de las mujeres y mayor cercanía de la atención primaria con los usuarios.O estudo tem como tema baixa adesão das mulheres ao exame citopatológico: um relato de experiência, o qual foi realizado através de uma situação observada na Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS), localizado no município de Irecê-Ba, através da realização do Planejamento Estratégico Situacional, com duração de agosto a dezembro de 2022, tem como objetivo: Ampliar a adesão das mulheres ao exame citopatológico na UBS de Irecê-BA. Trata-se de um relato de experiência, descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, a coleta na base de dados ocorreu via BVS utilizando-se operador Booleano “AND”, com os seguintes Descritores em Ciências da Saúde: Exame citopatológico; Câncer do colo de útero; preventivo, artigos como base utilizados são dos últimos cinco anos. Os resultados evidenciam a baixa adesão ao exame citopatológico por parte das mulheres, está ligado a percepção das mulheres e fatores como baixa renda, escolaridade e religião, além da necessidade da equipe da UBS capturar estas usuárias e entender os fatores da não realização, além disso capacitação dos profissionais e a humanização com intuito em ofertar um atendimento qualificado e humanista.
