Resumo: The Brazil nut is a fruit, native to the Amazon Rainforest and polygenic fatty acids from two groups, producers of aflatoxins, which are toxic compounds with carcinogenic and mutagenic effects. The objective of the work was to review studies that investigate the literature on Brazil nut and its conclusion with cancer. The has a qualitative approach, of an exploratory nature, a review research are characterized. The study verified fourteen main clinical findings, noting that foods can develop in foods at their production, processing, once or storage, as aflatoxin, or even if they are transported, inhaled or even pathogenic through the skin, fungi and pathogens. and death of man. Brazil nut was the product that presented the highest probability of aflatoxins in Brazil. Thus, the basic principles are during the harvesting process, post-sequence for the advancement in all these cares, from the extractive methods generated by its continuity.

Research, Society and Development2022-06-03info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/3030910.33448/rsd-v11i7.30309Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 No. 7; e52911730309Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 Núm. 7; e52911730309Research, Society and Development; v. 11 n. 7; e529117303092525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/30309/26109Copyright (c) 2022 Douglas Oliveira Vieira; Katia Regina Souza; Leonardo Armando Magalhães; Ítala Viviane Ubaldo Mesquita Véras; Saint Clair Lira Santoshttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessVieira, Douglas OliveiraSouza, Katia ReginaMagalhães, Leonardo ArmandoVéras, Ítala Viviane Ubaldo Mesquita Santos, Saint Clair Lira2022-06-06T15:12:05Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/30309Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:47:06.829681Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
