Work as an educational principle and overcoming the Brazilian educational duality

Resumo: The present work is a preliminary study about the Education and its transformations throughout history. We intend to address the division suffered by the education with the private property’s arrival, highlighting its ramifications in the current brazilian educational program. In this article, we aim to understand the dichotomy expressed in the different education projects currently present in Brazil.   We also intend to reflect on a perspective of overcoming this dual model through an educational praxis that takes work as an educational principle. We’ll analyze the Work’s role as a educational principle and its relation with the Education’s genesis, understanding that its resumption points to a possible horizon for overcoming the current duality expressed in a education for the working class and one for the dominant class. It is understood that Work is a founding category of the social being. The tour is based on the thinking of Marxian field theorists who reflect on an education for human emancipation.

El objetivo de este artículo es comprender la dicotomía expresada en los distintos proyectos educativos actualmente presentes en Brasil. También tenemos la intención de reflexionar sobre la perspectiva de superar este modelo dual a través de una praxis educativa que toma el trabajo como un principio educativo. Se parte de la comprensión del trabajo como categoría fundadora del ser social siendo necesario que asuma el papel orientador de las acciones educativas.  El trabajo como principio educativo se relaciona con la génesis de la educación y su retomada apunta como un horizonte posible de superación de la actual dualidad expresada en una educación para clase trabajadora y otra para la clase dominante.  Este texto se trata de una investigación sobre los factores responsables de la actual dualidad del proyecto educativo brasileño materializado en dos propuestas distintas de educación: una para la clase trabajadora y otra para las élites.  En este sentido la reanudación del debate acerca del trabajo como principio educativo se destaca en la perspectiva de superación de la educación fragmentada y alienante y construcción de un proyecto educativo de sesgo emancipatorio. El recorrido se basa en el pensamiento de los teóricos de campo marxistas que reflexionan sobre una educación para la emancipación humana.O presente trabalho trata-se de um estudo preliminar sobre a educação e suas transformações ao longo da história. Pretende-se abordar a cisão sofrida pela mesma com o advento da propriedade privada, analisando suas mudanças e destacando seu desdobramento no projeto educacional brasileiro atual. Objetivamos, neste artigo, compreender a dicotomia expressa nos projetos distintos de educação presentes atualmente no Brasil. Pretendemos também, refletir acerca de uma perspectiva de superação deste modelo dual através de uma práxis educativa que tome o trabalho como princípio educativo. Parte-se da compreensão do Trabalho como categoria fundante do ser social sendo necessário que assuma o papel norteador das ações educativas. O trabalho como princípio educativo relaciona-se com a gênese da educação e sua retomada aponta como um horizonte possível de superação da atual dualidade expressa em uma educação para classe trabalhadora e outra para a classe dominante.
