Lean healthcare: a proposal for implementation

Resumo: | The article aims to propose the implementation of the lean healthcare methodology for a health center along with the development of an application that helps in this process. For this, the article makes an approach to the Lean methodology focused on the healthcare area where it seeks to emphasize the quality management, reducing costs and waste for the public management, thus benefiting the population and employees at the same time. It was used the method of literature review about the theme, along with semi-structured interviews in a remote way, because it was still with high rates of infection of the virus corona, with the managers of the center to have information about the operation and methodologies applied, using later the NVIVO 11® software for analysis of the interviews. Where it is perceived that even following the guidelines of the municipality and ministries the system needs tools focused on quality management, thus arising the proposal of the methodology under study. As final considerations it became evident that there is a need to work an organization focused on quality management, where the proposed application would assist in the implementation of the process. |

Para ello, el artículo realiza una aproximación a la metodología Lean enfocada al área de la salud donde se busca enfatizar la gestión de la calidad, reduciendo costos y desperdicios para la gestión pública, beneficiando así a la población y a los empleados al mismo tiempo. Se utilizó el método de revisión bibliográfica sobre el tema, junto con entrevistas semiestructuradas de forma remota, por encontrarse aún con altos índices de infección del virus corana, con los responsables del centro para tener información sobre el funcionamiento y las metodologías aplicadas, utilizando posteriormente el software NVIVO 11® para el análisis de las entrevistas. Donde se percibe que aún siguiendo las directrices del municipio y de los ministerios el sistema necesita herramientas enfocadas a la gestión de la calidad, surgiendo así la propuesta de la metodología en estudio. Como consideraciones finales se hizo evidente la necesidad de trabajar una organización centrada en la gestión de la calidad, donde la aplicación propuesta ayudaría en la implementación del proceso.O artigo tem como objetivo propor à implantação da metodologia lean healthcare para um centro de saúde juntamente com o desenvolvimento de aplicativo que auxilie nesse processo. Para isso o artigo faz uma abordagem da metodologia Lean focada para a área da saúde onde busca enfatizar a gestão da qualidade, reduzindo custos e desperdícios para a gestão pública, beneficiando assim a população e colaboradores ao mesmo tempo. Utilizou-se o método de revisão de literatura à acerca do tema, juntamente com entrevistas semi-estruturadas de forma remotas, pois ainda estava com alto índices de contágios da corona vírus, com os gestores do centro para ter informações à cerca do funcionamento e metodologias aplicadas, utilizando posteriormente o software NVIVO 11® para análise das entrevistas. Onde percebe-se que mesmo seguindo orientações do município e ministérios o sistema necessita de ferramentas focadas na gestão da qualidade, surgindo assim a proposta da metodologia em estudo.
