Prevalence of dermatological manifestations associated with COVID-19

Resumo: The Organização Mundial da Saúde (WHO) is a group of β-coronaviruses responsible for a new type of COVID-19 pneumonia. A doença had various clinical presentations and very unspecific characteristics; Within the early symptoms: breathing difficulties, dormancy, difficulty failing, hemoptise, dyspnea, acute cardiac injuries. The SARS-CoV-2 virus has a great tropism for the lower airways, especially, or spectrum of clinical manifestations with respiratory injuries also reaching other organs. Otherwise, the skin manifestations may be related to the immunity of the patient or the present study item by objective to determine, from an integrative review of the literature, the prevalence of dermatological conditions in patients affected by COVID-19. This is an integrative review of literature with research on electronic databases Medical Publications (PubMed), Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Google Academic, such as Describers associated in English: Dermatological manifestations and COVID-19. After an analysis, it was found the prevalence of dermatological manifestations of the pruritic skin rash type in 36% two studies. It was concluded that there is a high prevalence of cases of dermatological alterations associated with patients with COVID-19 and health professionals who are in the front line against or coronavirus.

La enfermedad tiene varias presentaciones clínicas y aún tiene características muy inespecíficas; entre los síntomas se encuentran: dificultad para respirar, dolor de pecho, dificultad para hablar, hemoptisis, disnea, lesiones cardíacas agudas. El virus SARS-CoV-2 tiene un gran tropismo por las vías respiratorias inferiores, sin embargo, el espectro de manifestaciones clínicas va más allá de las lesiones respiratorias y afecta también a otros órganos. Así, las manifestaciones cutáneas pueden estar relacionadas con la inmunidad del paciente El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar, a partir de una revisión integradora de la literatura, la prevalencia de enfermedades dermatológicas en pacientes afectados por COVID-19. Se trata de una revisión de literatura integradora con búsqueda en bases de datos electrónicas Publicaciones Médicas (PubMed), Literatura Latinoamericana y del Caribe en Ciencias de la Salud (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) y Academic Google, con los descriptores asociados en inglés: Manifestaciones dermatológicas y COVID-19. Después de realizar el análisis, la prevalencia de manifestaciones dermatológicas como erupción pruriginosa se encontró en el 36% de los estudios. Se concluye que existe una alta prevalencia de casos de alteraciones dermatológicas asociadas a pacientes con COVID-19 y profesionales sanitarios que se encuentran en primera línea frente al coronavirus.A Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) nomeou um grupo β-coronavírus responsável por um novo tipo de pneumonia de COVID-19. A doença tem diversas apresentações clínicas e tem características ainda muito inespecíficas; dentre os sintomas tem-se: a dificuldade respiratória, dor no peito, dificuldade para falar, hemoptise, dispneia, lesões cardíacas agudas. O vírus SARS-CoV-2 tem grande tropismo pelas vias aéreas inferiores, porém, o espectro de manifestações clínicas vai além das lesões respiratória atingindo também outros órgãos. Desse modo, as manifestações cutâneas podem estar relacionadas a imunidade do paciente O presente estudo tem por objetivo determinar, a partir de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, a prevalência de doenças dermatológicas em pacientes acometidos por COVID-19. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura com pesquisa nas bases de dados eletrônicas Medical Publications (PubMed), Literatura Latino-americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) e Google Acadêmico, com os descritores associados em inglês: Dermatological manifestations e COVID-19. Após realizada a análise, foi constatado a prevalência das manifestações dermatológicas do tipo erupção cutânea pruriginosa em 36% dos estudos.
