Resumo: The objective of this research is to verify how some of the main representatives and institutions of sport and political fields acted during the discussion, elaboration and implementation of Zico Law, mainly within the Legislative Assembly. The study with a qualitative and exploratory approach used documentary research to analyze the shorthand notes reffering to the interventions of federal deputies, representative of clubs, state federations, Brazilian Confederation, as well as representatives of the Government during the public audiences that discussed Zico Law drafting. Through discourse analysis, a significant difference occurring during the course of the law, which were resolved by compromise and mainly by the imposition of politics interests in the sports field.

Through discourse analysis, a significant difference occurring during the course of the law, which were resolved by compromise and mainly by the imposition of politics interests in the sports field.El objetivo del presente estudio fue verificar cómo algunos de los principales agentes e instituciones en los campos deportivos y políticos actuaron en la discusión, elaboración e implementación de la Ley Zico, especialmente dentro de la Cámara de Diputados. Utilizando fuentes poco utilizadas en estudios de esta naturaleza y respaldadas por Theory of Fields, por el sociólogo Pierre Bourdieu, se analizaron las notas abreviadas sobre las intervenciones de diputados federales, representantes de clubes, federaciones estatales, confederación brasileña y representantes del Poder. Ejecutivo, durante audiencias públicas que discutieron el Proyecto Ley Zico. A través del análisis del discurso, se encontró una diferencia significativa entre la propuesta inicial del proyecto de ley y la ley promulgada en la instancia final, como resultado de la prevalencia de los intereses políticos sobre los deportes.Este estudo teve como objetivo verificar a atuação dos principais agentes e instituições do campo esportivo e do campo político na discussão, elaboração e implantação da Lei Zico, especialmente no interior da Câmara dos Deputados. O estudo de abordagem qualitativa e exploratória utilizou a pesquisa documental para analisar as notas taquigráficas referente às intervenções de deputados federais, representantes de clubes, federações estaduais, Confederação Brasileira e de representantes do Poder Executivo, durante as audiências públicas que discutiram o Projeto da Lei Zico, amparados pela Teoria dos Campos, do sociólogo Pierre Bourdieu.
