Resumo: | Objective: To analyze the degree of knowledge of nursing students about the recommendations for the prevention and treatment of pressure injuries in critically ill patients. Methodology: Descriptive, exploratory study with a quantitative approach, carried out in the first semester of 2019. The research was carried out with 70 students from the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th semester of the undergraduate nursing course. Data were collected using a validated instrument. The research was submitted to the Research Ethics Committee (CEP) of the Undergraduate Nursing Course at the University of the Amazon (UNAMA), CAAE: 06941519.9.0000.5173. Results: There was a predominance of the female population, aged between 20 and 29 years, born in Belém and with a single marital status. It was possible to verify that most of the participants who obtained updates about the pressure injury in classes at college. One should always seek improvement in courses, lectures, articles, among other forms of improvement, aiming to always keep up to date, in face of such an important issue in the nurse's journey, as it is considered the main piece in this care. Conclusion: To advance knowledge about PPL, it is necessary to disseminate guidelines for its prevention and treatment. There is a lack of knowledge about the prevention of pressure injuries among those surveyed, making continuous training mandatory even starting during graduation. |

Metodología: Estudio descriptivo, exploratorio con enfoque cuantitativo, realizado en el primer semestre de 2019. La investigación se llevó a cabo con 70 estudiantes del 7º, 8º, 9º y 10º semestre de la carrera de Licenciatura en Enfermería. Los datos se recopilaron mediante un instrumento validado. La investigación fue sometida al Comité de Ética en Investigación (CEP) del Curso de Licenciatura en Enfermería de la Universidad de la Amazonía (UNAMA), CAAE: 06941519.9.0000.5173. Resultados: Predominó la población femenina, de 20 a 29 años, nacida en Belém y con estado civil soltero. Se pudo verificar que la mayoría de los participantes que obtuvieron actualizaciones sobre la lesión por presión en las clases de la universidad. Siempre se debe buscar la mejora en los cursos, conferencias, artículos, entre otras formas de mejora, con el objetivo de estar siempre al día, ante un tema tan importante en el recorrido del enfermero, por ser considerado la pieza principal en este cuidado. Conclusión: Para avanzar en el conocimiento sobre la LPP, es necesario difundir pautas para su prevención y tratamiento. Existe un desconocimiento sobre la prevención de lesiones por presión entre los encuestados, por lo que la formación continua es obligatoria incluso a partir de la graduación.Objetivo: Analisar o grau de conhecimento de acadêmicos de enfermagem acerca das recomendações para a prevenção e tratamento de lesões por pressão em pacientes criticamente enfermos. Metodologia: Estudo descritivo, exploratório, com abordagem quantitativa, realizado no primeiro semestre de 2019. A pesquisa foi realizada com 70 alunos do 7º, 8º, 9º e 10º semestre do curso de graduação em enfermagem. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um instrumento validado. A pesquisa foi submetida ao Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa (CEP) do Curso de Graduação em Enfermagem da Universidade da Amazônia (UNAMA), CAAE: 06941519.9.0000.5173. Resultados: Observou-se a predominância da população feminina, com idade entre 20 e 29 anos, natural de Belém e com estado civil solteiro. Foi possível verificar que a maioria dos participantes que obtiveram atualizações acerca da lesão por pressão em aulas na faculdade. Deve-se sempre buscar aprimoramento em cursos, palestras, artigos, entre outras formas de aprimoramento, objetivando manter-se sempre atualizadas, diante de um assunto tão importante na jornada do enfermeiro, por este ser considerado peça principal nesse cuidado. Conclusão: Para avançar o conhecimento sobre LPP, é necessária a difusão das diretrizes para sua prevenção e tratamento.
