Resumo: The objective was to analyze the scientific productions available in the literature on the care of newborns at risk in the context of the follow-up program. This is an integrative literature review carried out in the CINAHL, LILACS, MEDLINE / PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science databases, in February 2020. Twelve studies were selected, nine of which were quantitative and three qualitative, grouped into three categories: health conditions of newborns monitored by the follow-up program; factors that influence adherence and dropout from the follow-up program; nursing care in the follow-up program. This review points to a notable need to expand activities on the persistence of care for newborns discharged from neonatal units and on the follow-up program, in order to be subsidiary and can overcome the difficulties pointed out by the researches analyzed.

Research, Society and Development2020-11-04info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/951510.33448/rsd-v9i11.9515Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 No. 11; e579119515Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 Núm. 11; e579119515Research, Society and Development; v. 9 n. 11; e5791195152525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/9515/8527Copyright (c) 2020 Jéssica Saraiva Xavier; Fabiane Blanco Silva Bernardino; Maria Aparecida Munhoz Gaívahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessXavier, Jéssica Saraiva Bernardino, Fabiane Blanco Silva Gaíva, Maria Aparecida Munhoz 2020-12-10T23:37:57Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/9515Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:31:46.690162Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
