Systematic review: toxicity of the glyphosate herbicide with in vivo contamination in fish

Resumo: Each year the amount of pesticides released into the environment grows, mainly contaminating the aquatic environment. Since glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide, many articles seek to understand the risks that this compound can provide in these areas. Therefore, the objective of this work was to characterize the methods applied in experimental studies in vivo in fish contaminated by glyphosate and their commercial formulations. The program StArt was used for screening articles were selected for an exploratory analysis and for screening, the StArt software was used, with a total of 3730 articles selected, from the ScienceDirect platform (n = 1018), ScieLO (339) and Scopus (2373). Of these, 121 articles were approved to search for the information that best answers the objective of this work. The first published work on in vivo contamination in fish was in 1979. Since then, around 8163 fish specimens have been used, the most used being Cyprinus carpio (n = 1758) and among the highest standard deviation values in relation to fish density per liter of water, weight and length (n = 10.54; 8.42; and 79.44 respectively). The most used concentration ranged from 0.0007 to 975 mg / L and the most used herbicide was Roundup Original®. It was noted the need for more detailed studies in relation to the methods applied and directed to more aggressive active principles, which are applied on a large scale in the environment and that studies aimed at systematizing publications are important for decision making by the public authorities in toxicological evaluations for registration or reassessments of pesticides.

Sendo o glifosato o herbicida más utilizado en el mundo, muitos artigos buscam entender os riscos que esse composto pode proporcionar nessas areas. Sendo assim, o objetivo desse trabalho foi caracterizar los métodos aplicados en estudos experimentales in vivo en peixes contaminados por glifosato y suas formulações comercias. Se usó el StArt, sendo selecionados no total 3730 artigos plataforma ScienceDirect (n = 1018), ScieLO (339) e Scopus (2373). Destes, foram aprovados 121 artigos para a busca das informações que melhor responddem o objetivo desse trabalho. O primeiro trabalho publicado sobre una contaminación in vivo en peixes desde 1979. Desde então, foram utilizado cerca de 8163 espécimes de peixes, enviando más información sobre Cyprinus carpio (n = 1758) y entre los maiores valores de desvio padrão en relação a densidade de peixes por litros de água, peso y comprimento (n = 10,54; 8,42; e 79,44 respectivamente). La concentración más utilizada varía de 0.0007 a 975 mg / L y la hierba más utilizada por Roundup Original®. Para observar la necesidad de los estudios más detallados en la relación entre métodos aplicados en los estudios in vivo, direccionados para principios ativos, más agresivos y comercializados, qué aplicaciones en la gran escala no hay ambiente y los estudios volcados para la sistematización de publicaciones son importantes para tomar decisiones pelo poder público en avaliações toxicológicas para registro ou reavaliações de agrotóxicos.A cada ano cresce a quantidade de agrotóxicos lançados no meio ambiente, contaminando principalmente o meio aquático. Foram selecionados 5 artigos para uma análise exploratória e para a triagem foi utilizado o software StArt, sendo selecionados no total 3730 artigos, da plataforma ScienceDirect (n=1018), ScieLO (339) e Scopus (2373). Destes, foram aprovados 121 artigos para a busca das informações que melhor respondem o objetivo desse trabalho. O primeiro trabalho publicado sobre a contaminação in vivo em peixes foi em 1979. Desde então, foram utilizados cerca de 8163 espécimes de peixes, sendo a mais utilizada o Cyprinus carpio (n=1758) e entre os maiores valores de desvio padrão em relação a densidade de peixes por litros de água, peso e comprimento (n=10,54; 8,42; e 79,44 respectivamente). A concentração mais utilizada variou de 0.0007 a 975 mg/L e o herbicida mais utilizado foi o Roundup Original®.
