Resumo: Hepatitis B is an acute viral disease caused by the HBV virus (Hepatitis B virus), characterized by inflammation of the liver parenchyma that can cause asymptomatic, symptomatic infections and severe fulminant forms. It aims to know what are the duties performed by nurses in Primary Care aiming at the prevention and control of hepatitis B. This is a narrative review of the literature. A search for studies was carried out in the Google Scholar virtual library, in which there are several indexed databases, through the descriptors "Hepatitis B", "Primary Health Care", "Nursing Care", "Prevention" and "Attention to Health". Health". The final sample of this review consisted of 4 scientific articles that met the inclusion criteria, those that were available in Portuguese, dated in the last ten years of publication and that addressed the relationship between the role of PHC nurses in control and prevention. of Hepatitis B, it is understood that nurses must have competences and skills in nursing care in Primary Health Care in relation to coping with hepatitis B, such as communication, health care and continuing education. It is concluded that the nurse presents himself as the extremely relevant professional in the scenario of combating and preventing hepatitis B, when applying in practice his praxiological knowledge based on actions that guarantee patient safety and the necessary care for comprehensive treatment.

Tiene como objetivo conocer cuáles son las funciones realizadas por los enfermeros en la Atención Primaria con el objetivo de la prevención y el control de la hepatitis B. Se trata de una revisión narrativa de la literatura. Se realizó una búsqueda de estudios en la biblioteca virtual Google Scholar, en la que se encuentran varias bases de datos indexadas, a través de los descriptores “Hepatitis B”, “Atención Primaria de Salud”, “Cuidados de Enfermería”, “Prevención” y “Atención a la Salud”. . Salud". La muestra final de esta revisión consistió en 4 artículos científicos que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión, aquellos que estaban disponibles en portugués, fechados en los últimos diez años de publicación y que abordaban la relación entre el papel de las enfermeras de APS en el control y la prevención de la Hepatitis B, se entiende que los enfermeros deben tener competencias y habilidades en el cuidado de enfermería en la Atención Primaria de Salud en relación al enfrentamiento de la hepatitis B, tales como comunicación, cuidado de la salud y educación continua. Se concluye que el enfermero se presenta como el profesional de suma relevancia en el escenario del combate y prevención de la hepatitis B, al aplicar en la práctica sus conocimientos praxiológicos basados en acciones que garanticen la seguridad del paciente y los cuidados necesarios para un tratamiento integral.A hepatite B é uma doença viral aguda causada pelo vírus HBV (Hepatitis B virus), sendo caracterizada por uma inflamação do parênquima hepático que pode ocasionar infecções assintomáticas, sintomáticas e formas graves fulminantes. Tem por objetivo conhecer quais são as atribuições exercidas pelo enfermeiro na Atenção Primária visando a prevenção e o controle da hepatite B. Trata-se de uma revisão narrativa da literatura. Foi realizada a busca dos estudos na biblioteca virtual Google Acadêmico, na qual existem diversas bases de dados indexadas, por meio dos descritores “Hepatite B”, “Atenção Primária à Saúde”, “Assistência de Enfermagem”, “Prevenção” e “Atenção à Saúde”. A amostra final desta revisão foi composta por 4 artigos científicos, que atendessem aos  critérios de inclusão, os que estivessem disponíveis no idioma Português, datados nos últimos dez anos de publicação e que abordassem a relação entre a atuação do enfermeiro da APS no controle e prevenção da Hepatite B, entende-se que o enfermeiro deve possuir competências e habilidades nos cuidados de enfermagem na Atenção Primária à Saúde em relação ao enfrentamento da hepatite B, como a comunicação, a atenção à saúde e a educação permanente.
