Resumo: At the beginning of 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic emerged, which affected all segments of the world economy. The out-of-home food sector was one of the most impacted economically and financially, due to restrictions and social distancing. In view of this, the objective of this research is to analyze the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the economic-financial management of a restaurant-pizzeria in the municipality of Cacoal. The study has a qualitative-quantitative approach, of an exploratory nature. Through the comparative analysis of the indicators between the years 2016 and 2020, it was found that the pandemic was reflected in the financial reports with a considerable reduction in net sales revenue in 2020 compared to previous years. Despite this reduction, the company points to the ability to meet its commitments, but has used third-party capital to maximize liquidity. The company also demonstrates concerns and measures so that the impacts of the pandemic do not directly affect its financial and operational performance.

El sector de comida fuera del hogar fue uno de los más afectados económica y financieramente, debido a las restricciones y el distanciamiento social. Ante ello, el objetivo de esta investigación es analizar los impactos de la pandemia del Covid-19 en la gestión económico-financiera de un restaurante-pizzería del municipio de Cacoal. El estudio tiene un enfoque cualitativo-cuantitativo, de carácter exploratorio. A través del análisis comparativo de los indicadores entre los años 2016 y 2020, se encontró que la pandemia se reflejó en los reportes financieros con una reducción considerable en los ingresos por ventas netas en el 2020 con respecto a años anteriores. A pesar de esta reducción, la compañía apunta a la capacidad de cumplir con sus compromisos, pero ha utilizado capital de terceros para maximizar la liquidez. La empresa también demuestra preocupación y medidas para que los impactos de la pandemia no afecten directamente su desempeño financiero y operativo.No início do ano de 2020 surgiu a pandemia da Covid-19, a qual afetou todos os segmentos da economia mundial. O setor de alimentação fora do lar foi um dos mais impactados econômica e financeiramente, devido as restrições e distanciamento social . Frente a isso, o objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar os impactos da pandemia da Covid-19 na gestão econômico-financeira de um restaurante-pizzaria no município de Cacoal. O estudo possui abordagem quali-quantitativa, de natureza exploratória. Através da análise comparativa dos indicadores entre os exercícios de 2016 e 2020, verificou-se que a pandemia refletiu nos relatórios financeiros com redução considerável da receita líquida de vendas no ano de 2020 em comparativo aos anos anteriores. Apesar dessa redução, a empresa aponta a capacidade de cumprir seus compromissos, mas tem utilizado fonte de capital de terceiros para maximizar liquidez.
