Resumo: The aim of this study is analyzed as related to kidney problems, with an emphasis on kidney function and nursing care for patients on hemodialysis at the edge. With regard to, a bibliographic and documentary analysis was used through national and international scientific articles, dissertations and theses indexed in databases such as Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde and PUBMED, in the last 10 years. This study was carried out in three aspects for the understanding of the investigated proposal: the Kidneys and a Renal Insufficiency; hemodialysis as a treatment modality for renal dysfunction and nursing care with hemodialysis at the bedside. Through professional results for the development of specific care for these patients. Studiesm that the experience as a facilitating element for hemodialysis is care for patients at the bedside. Therefore, the presence of the nursing team is crucial in the implementation and execution of care in order to avoid and observe possible complications at the time of hemodialysis.

En cuanto a, se utilizó un análisis bibliográfico y documental a través de artículos científicos, disertaciones y tesis nacionales e internacionales indexados en bases de datos como Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde y PUBMED, en los últimos 10 años. Este estudio se realizó en tres aspectos para la comprensión de la propuesta investigada: los Riñones y una Insuficiencia Renal; la hemodiálisis como modalidad de tratamiento de la disfunción renal y los cuidados de enfermería con hemodiálisis al lado de la cama. Mediante resultados profesionales para el desarrollo de cuidados específicos para estos pacientes. Estudios en los que la experiencia como elemento facilitador de la hemodiálisis es el cuidado de los pacientes al lado de la cama, por lo tanto, la presencia del equipo de enfermería es fundamental en la implementación y ejecución de los cuidados para evitar y observar posibles complicaciones en el momento de la hemodiálisis.O objetivo deste estudo é analisar as evidências relacionadas aos problemas renais, com ênfase na insuficiência renal e os cuidados de enfermagem para pacientes em hemodiálise à beira leito. No que concerne à metodologia, utilizou-se a análise bibliográfica e documental por meio de artigos científicos nacionais e internacionais, dissertações e teses indexados em bases de dados como, Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde e PUBMED, nos últimos 10 anos. Este estudo foi ancorado em três vertentes para a compreensão da proposta investigada: os rins e a insuficiência renal; a hemodiálise como modalidade de tratamento para a insuficiência renal e os cuidados de enfermagem com pacientes em hemodiálise à beira leito. Através dos resultados, verificou-se que os cuidados de enfermagem aos pacientes com hemodiálise à beira leito são pautados em capacitação dos profissionais para o desenvolvimento da assistência específica a esses pacientes. Estudos evidenciam que a experiência é um elemento facilitador para a efetividade do cuidado para com pacientes em hemodiálise à beira leito.
