ADHD and the new guidelines

Resumo: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is considered a common preschool disorder, affecting 5 to 8% of the world's child population. The theme is relevant in the educational area, which is closely related to it, contributing to the clarification of concepts, symptoms and description of the disorder. Regarding the legislation, the current one did not specify clearly on the subject, which is theoretically understood in special educational needs. However, in November 2021, the new Law No. 14,254 was published, which objectively deals with the subject, bringing new guidelines. From this perspective, the study aims to analyze concepts and interpretations about ADHD, ADHD and Education, the previous legislation on the subject and the new guidelines. For this purpose, a qualitative methodology was used in this study, in relation to the objectives, exploratory and descriptive, as it seeks to explore concepts, meanings and classifications of ADHD in different authors and perspectives and, for the procedures, bibliographic. The research was carried out in a virtual environment, in reliable databases such as Scielo, with scientific articles and books in pdf format, publications and current legislation, with the descriptors ADHD, new guidelines, legislation, education. Which resulted in a discussion organized into four topics, of which: e ADHD, ADHD and education, ADHD and legislation and New guidelines for ADHD. The author's conclusions and impressions can be found in the final considerations.

El tema es relevante en el área educativa, que tiene estrecha relación con él, contribuyendo para la clarificación de conceptos, síntomas y descripción del trastorno. En cuanto a la legislación, la actual no especificaba claramente sobre el tema, que teóricamente se entiende en necesidades educativas especiales. Sin embargo, en noviembre de 2021, se publicó la nueva Ley N° 14.254, que trata objetivamente el tema, trayendo nuevos lineamientos. Desde esta perspectiva, el estudio tiene como objetivo analizar los conceptos e interpretaciones sobre el TDAH, el TDAH y la Educación, la legislación anterior sobre el tema y las nuevas directrices. Para ello, se utilizó en este estudio una metodología cualitativa, en relación a los objetivos, exploratoria y descriptiva, ya que busca explorar conceptos, significados y clasificaciones del TDAH en diferentes autores y perspectivas y, para los procedimientos, bibliográfica. La investigación se realizó en un ambiente virtual, en bases de datos confiables como Scielo, con artículos y libros científicos en formato pdf, publicaciones y legislación vigente, con los descriptores TDAH, nuevas pautas, legislación, educación. Lo que resultó en una discusión organizada en cuatro temas, de los cuales: e TDAH, TDAH y educación, TDAH y legislación y Nuevas pautas para el TDAH. Las conclusiones e impresiones del autor se encuentran en las consideraciones finales.O Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH) é considerado um transtorno comum da fase pré-escolar, atingindo de 5 a 8 % da população infantil mundial. A temática é pertinente na área educacional, que se relaciona intimamente com a mesma, contribuindo para o esclarecimento de conceitos, sintomatologia e descrição do transtorno. Em relação a legislação, a vigente não especificava claramente acerca do tema, sendo este compreendido em necessidades educacionais especiais teoricamente. Porém, em novembro de 2021 foi publicada a nova Lei nº 14.254 que trata objetivamente da temática, trazendo novas diretrizes. Nessa perspectiva, o estudo objetiva analisar conceitos e interpretações sobre o TDAH, o TDAH e a Educação, a legislação anterior acerca do tema e as novas diretrizes. Para tal, utilizou-se neste estudo metodologia de caráter qualitativo, com relação aos objetivos, exploratória e descritiva pois busca explorar conceitos, significados e classificações do TDAH em diferentes autores e perspectivas e, para os procedimentos, bibliográfico. A pesquisa foi realizada em meio virtual, em bases de dados confiáveis como Scielo, com artigos científicos e livros em formato pdf, publicações e na legislação vigente, com os descritores TDAH, novas diretrizes, legislação, educação. Que resultou em discussão organizada em quatro tópicos, dos quais: e O TDAH, O TDAH e a educação, TDAH e a legislação e Novas diretrizes para o TDAH.
