Adventure activities in the educational field: methodological alternatives for Physical Education classes

Resumo: | Objective: This article aims to present models of teaching adventure activities in the context of Physical Education (PE) classes. Methods: The research method used was the bibliographic, through exploratory dynamics, plus the use of the observation technique to collect empirical data. Results: Initially, in the first part of the research, we highlighted the centrality of sport from the literary review that refers to the 1980s, a period marked by the numerous contingents of theoretical publications on school PE. Then, in the second section of the study, we discussed about adventure activities in conceptual, analytical and terminological terms. Finally, in the last section of the study, we presented teaching models on adventure activities based on the experiences acquired with the extension project “Escola de Aventuras”, from the Leisure Studies Group (GEL). Conclusion: Through the investigation carried out here, we found that adventure activities can be implemented in the context of school Physical Education content, being an enriching alternative to the traditional activities experienced within the discipline. In this sense, teachers can and should be encouraged to mobilize this content in class, as these activities have a good reception from students. |

Metodología: El método de investigación utilizado fue el bibliográfico, a través de dinámicas exploratorias, más el uso de la técnica de observación para la recolección de datos empíricos. Resultados: Inicialmente, en la primera parte de la investigación, destacamos la centralidad del deporte a partir de la revisión literaria que hace referencia a la década de los 80, un período marcado por el numeroso contingente de publicaciones teóricas sobre EF escolar. Luego, en la segunda sección del estudio, hablamos de actividades de aventura en términos conceptuales, analíticos y terminológicos. Finalmente, en el último apartado del estudio, presentamos modelos didácticos sobre actividades de aventura basados en las experiencias adquiridas con el proyecto de extensión “Escola de Aventuras”, del Grupo de Estudios del Ocio (GEL). Conclusión: A través de la digresión aquí realizada, se verificó que las actividades de aventura se pueden implementar en los contenidos de Educación Física del medio escolar, siendo una alternativa enriquecedora a las actividades tradicionales vividas en el ámbito de la disciplina. En este sentido, se puede y se debe incentivar al profesorado a movilizar este contenido en las clases, ya que estas actividades tienen una buena recepción por parte de los alumnos.Objetivo: O presente artigo tem como objetivo expor modelos de ensino das atividades de aventura no contexto das aulas de Educação Física (EF). Métodos: O método de pesquisa utilizado foi o bibliográfico, por meio da dinâmica exploratória, somado a utilização da técnica de observação para coleta dos dados empíricos. Resultados: Inicialmente, na primeira parte da pesquisa, destacamos a centralidade do esporte a partir da revisão literária que remete à década de 1980, período marcado pelo numeroso contingente de publicações teóricas sobre a EF escolar. Na sequência, na segunda seção do estudo, discorremos acerca das atividades de aventura em termos conceituais, analíticos e terminológicos. Por fim, na última seção do estudo, apresentamos modelos de ensino sobre as atividades de aventura baseado nas experiências adquiridas junto ao projeto de extensão “Escola de Aventuras”, do Grupo de Estudos do Lazer (GEL). Conclusão: Através da digressão aqui realizada, verificamos que atividades de aventura podem ser implementadas em meio aos conteúdos da Educação Física escolar, sendo uma alternativa enriquecedora diante das atividades tradicionais vivenciadas no âmbito da disciplina.
