Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT), teacher training and Zoology content: a mapping in national publications within the scope of Science Teaching

The purpose of this paper was to investigate national research, within the scope of Science teaching, that articulated the approaches “Digital Technologies of Information and Communication”, “Zoology teaching” and “teacher training”. For this, a mapping was carried out based on the stages of a Systematic Literature Review, with a search interval between the years 2009 and 2019. Papers in journals, theses, dissertations and complete works published in the annals of events were investigated. The results showed that 0.070% of the 24,170 investigated productions maintained a relationship with part of the research focuses of interest, none articulating all the approaches. This panorama suggests, as a fertile field of research, studies that generate didactic materials and formative proposals aimed at teacher education, based on the Digital Technologies of Information and Communication, in order to favor the teaching of Zoology contents.
