Resumo: For the execution of this work, scientific articles were searched in the main databases (Scielo and Scopus), academic google and technical materials available in digital form related to the stocking density of the main native species and their hybrids in tank rearing systems -network. From the survey carried out, several studies were obtained that assess the stocking density. In view of these findings, it can be inferred that the production per area of Colossoma macropomum and Brycon amazonicus in cages are higher with increasing stocking density. Likewise, most studies with species of the genus Pseudoplatystoma spp, and Arapaima gigas indicate the best performance indices when subjected to high stocking densities, in the different stages of cultivation. However, for Piaractus mesopotamicus cultivated in different stocking densities, it was observed that the increase in stocking density inhibits the growth of individuals. Given the above, to strengthen the development of the fish farming production chain in net tanks, further studies are needed, conducted on commercial scales according to the producer's reality. We emphasize that in works with stocking densities or food management, whenever possible, the productive performance and the health and well-being of animals in housing must be combined with economic evaluations, as not always those densities in which they present the greatest growth present the greatest productive biomass.

Research, Society and Development2021-08-18info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/1859110.33448/rsd-v10i10.18591Research, Society and Development; Vol. 10 No. 10; e225101018591Research, Society and Development; Vol. 10 Núm. 10; e225101018591Research, Society and Development; v. 10 n. 10; e2251010185912525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/18591/17115Copyright (c) 2021 Hévea Monteiro Maciel; Alice Ferreira Araújo; Bruna Alessandra Von Dentz; Karen Carrilho da Silva Lira; Arcangelo Augusto Signorhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMaciel, Hévea Monteiro Araújo, Alice Ferreira Dentz, Bruna Alessandra Von Lira, Karen Carrilho da Silva Signor, Arcangelo Augusto2021-10-02T21:49:16Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/18591Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:38:41.900606Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
