Education of teachers for professional and technological education: analyzing demands from a case study

Resumo: | The article presents research aimed at identifying the knowledge of teachers in the federal education network regarding the legislation that guides professional and technological education, as well as the way in which this appropriation took place, with a focus on the organization of the pedagogical projects of the courses. The analysis of the training demands of teachers can help in the organization of activities of continuing education in the service of teachers of professional and technological education, in order to meet their specificities and challenges inherent to this type of teaching. With a qualitative and exploratory approach, it involved a case study with the participation of thirteen professors, with data collection taking place through a questionnaire. Among the demands observed, we highlight the need for more knowledge about educational legislation, considered brief and insufficient, to have access to discussions and strategies adopted by federal institutes, and to hold discussions on issues present in the legislation that supports the professional education technology, such as polytechnics, interdisciplinary teaching and integrated. The offer of continuing education courses must be conducted by the federal network itself as an institutional policy, with a constant offer and focused on meeting the needs of the teacher and the institution itself. |

El análisis de las demandas de formación de los docentes puede auxiliar en la organización de actividades de formación permanente al servicio de los docentes de educación profesional y tecnológica, con el fin de atender sus especificidades y desafíos inherentes a este tipo de enseñanza. Con un enfoque cualitativo y exploratorio, se trató de un estudio de caso con la participación de trece profesores, con recolección de datos a través de un cuestionario. Entre las demandas observadas, destacamos la necesidad de mayor conocimiento sobre la legislación educativa, considerada breve e insuficiente, para tener acceso a las discusiones y estrategias adoptadas por las Institutos Federales, y debatir sobre temas presentes en la legislación que sustenta la educácion professional tecnológica, como los politécnicos, enseñanza interdisciplinaria e integrada. La oferta de cursos de educación continua debe ser conducida por la propia red federal como política institucional, con una oferta constante y enfocada a satisfacer las necesidades del docente y de la propia institución.O artigo apresenta pesquisa visando identificar o conhecimento de docentes da rede federal de ensino quanto a legislação que orienta a educação profissional e tecnológica, assim como a forma como se deu essa apropriação, com foco na organização de projetos pedagógicos dos cursos. A análise das demandas formativas dos docentes pode auxiliar na organização de atividades de formação continuada em serviço de professores da educação profissional e tecnológica, de modo a atender suas especificidades e desafios inerentes a esta modalidade de ensino. De abordagem qualitativa e exploratória, envolveu um estudo de caso com a participação de treze docente, com a coleta de dados ocorrendo a partir de um questionário. Dentre as demandas observadas destaca-se a necessidade de mais conhecimento sobre legislação educacional, considerado breve e insuficiente, ter acesso a discussões e estratégias adotadas pelos Institutos Federais, e realizar discussões sobre questões presentes na legislação que ampara a educação profissional e tecnológica, como politecnia, ensino interdisciplinar e integrado. A oferta de cursos de formação continuada deve ser conduzida pela própria rede federal como uma política institucional, com oferta constante e com foco em atender as necessidades do docente e da própria instituição.
