Resumo: | The management of rural activities is indispensable for the producer, as it provides adequate basis for the processes involved in this follow-up, which enables the improvement of the productive establishment, focusing on the main needs, achieving satisfactory economic and financial results. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the planning strategies of family farming rural enterprises in the municipality of Mossoró, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, considering the social and economic importance that this activity has for the region. The exploratory study took place through structured qualitative and quantitative questionnaires applied by technicians of the Sertão Entrepreneur Project. According to the results obtained, it was observed that 41% of the analyzed properties carry out production planning, both strategic and operational. That personal planning is carried out in strategic aspects at 53% and operational at 32%. Regarding financial planning, 28% of the enterprises stated that they performed strategically and 34% operationally. Therefore, it is possible to observe some points that may contribute to the lack of planning of the rural enterprises that should be better worked, among them we can mention, lack of guidance, discouragement with the activity and a large amount of risk to which these enterprises are exposed. planning the alternative to make these activities safer. |

Así, este estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar las estrategias de planificación de las empresas de agricultura familiar rural en el municipio de Mossoró, en el estado de Rio Grande do Norte, considerando la importancia social y económica que esta actividad tiene para la región. El estudio exploratorio se realizó a través de cuestionarios estructurados de carácter cuali-cuantitativo aplicados por técnicos del Proyecto Sertão Empreendedor. De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos, se observó que el 41% de los predios analizados realizan planificación de la producción, tanto estratégica como operativa. Que la planificación personal se lleve a cabo en aspectos estratégicos al 53% y operativa al 32%. En cuanto a la planificación financiera, el 28% de las empresas manifestaron que se realizaron de manera estratégica y el 34% operativamente. Por tanto, es posible observar algunos puntos que pueden contribuir a la falta de planificación de emprendimientos rurales que deben ser mejor trabajados, entre ellos podemos mencionar, la falta de orientación, el desánimo con la actividad y gran cantidad de riesgo al que están expuestos estos emprendimientos, siendo el planificar la alternativa para hacer estas actividades más seguras.A gestão das atividades rurais é indispensável para o produtor, pois fornece embasamento adequado aos processos envolvidos nesse seguimento, o que possibilita a melhoria do estabelecimento produtivo, com enfoque nas principais necessidades, alcançando os resultados econômicos e financeiros satisfatórios. Assim, este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar as estratégias de planejamento de empreendimentos rurais da agricultura familiar no município de Mossoró, no estado do Rio Grande do Norte, considerando a importância social e econômica que essa atividade tem para a região. O estudo exploratório se deu através de questionários estruturados de natureza quali-quantitativos aplicados por técnicos do Projeto Sertão Empreendedor. De acordo com os resultados obtidos, observou-se que 41% das propriedades analisadas realizam planejamento da produção, tanto estratégico como também operacional. Que o planejamento pessoal é realizado em aspectos estratégicos em 53% e operacional 32%. Quanto ao planejamento financeiro 28% dos empreendimentos afirmaram realizarem de forma estratégica e 34% de forma operacional.
