Resumo: Objective: The study aimed to identify the influence of age, nutritional status and dietary intake on maternal health. Methodology: A cross-sectional and quantitative study was carried out. The sample consisted of 467 pregnant women from secondary data from a Basic Health Unit (UBS) and a High Risk Pregnancy Outpatient Clinic (AGAR). Age, pre-gestational nutritional status, weight gain during gestation and food consumption among pregnant women, as well as among the different age groups were compared: <19 years, between 20 and 34 and> 35. Results: AGAR women presented higher age, pre-gestational weight, BMI and weight gain and lower number of meals, energy consumption, lipids and proteins compared to pregnant women at the UBS. Conclusion: It was concluded that age above 35 years, nutritional status of overweight / obesity, excessive weight gain and insufficient dietary intake were related to pregnant women who presented high gestational risk.

Research, Society and Development2020-09-28info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/860310.33448/rsd-v9i10.8603Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 No. 10; e3249108603Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 Núm. 10; e3249108603Research, Society and Development; v. 9 n. 10; e32491086032525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/8603/7651Copyright (c) 2020 Giovana Daniele Kuhn; Patricia Fassina; Fernanda Scherer Adami; Taís Battisti Guerra; Franciele Silva Schedler; Ioná Carreno; André Anjos da Silva; Ramatis Birnfeld de Oliveirahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessKuhn, Giovana Daniele Fassina, PatriciaAdami, Fernanda Scherer Guerra, Taís Battisti Schedler, Franciele Silva Carreno, Ioná Silva, André Anjos da Oliveira, Ramatis Birnfeld de 2020-10-31T12:03:23Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/8603Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:31:02.485219Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
