Resumo: Considering that the timely correct diagnosis of a disease by the medical professional increases the chances of a faster cure and contributes to not having aggravations (sequelae), considering that there are several types of anemia and the increasingly frequent involvement in individuals, It is essential to assess knowledge about the topic among professionals in training. This study sought to comparatively analyze the concept of anemia, its types and differential diagnoses among medical interns at a faculty in Piauí, through a form with questions about concepts, types and differential diagnoses between anemias. Obtaining positive data on the level of knowledge of students, however there are not many similar scientific publications, which limits the comparison of results, however, it was evident that there is room for improvement, since the topic is quite comprehensive and important in a a country with such diversity and social inequalities as Brazil.

Este estudio buscó analizar comparativamente el concepto de anemia, sus tipos y diagnósticos diferenciales entre médicos internos de una facultad de Piauí, a través de un formulario con preguntas sobre conceptos, tipos y diagnósticos diferenciales entre anemia. Obteniendo datos positivos sobre el nivel de conocimiento de los estudiantes, sin embargo, no existen muchas publicaciones científicas similares, lo que limita la comparación de resultados, sin embargo, se evidenció que hay margen de mejora, ya que el tema es bastante amplio e importante en un a país con tanta diversidad y desigualdad social como Brasil.Considerando que o acerto tempestivo do diagnóstico de uma doença por parte do profissional médico aumenta as chances de cura mais rápida e contribui para não haver agravamentos (sequelas), considerando que haver diversos tipos de anemias e o acometimento cada vez mais frequente nos indivíduos torna-se primordial avaliar o conhecimento a respeito do tema entre profissionais em formação. Este estudo buscou analisar comparativamente o conceito de anemias, seus tipos e diagnósticos diferenciais entre os internos de medicina de uma faculdade do  Piauí, através de um formulário com questionamentos a respeito de conceitos, tipos e diagnósticos diferenciais entre anemias.
