Resumo: Uprighting inclined molars, whether due to anodontics or premature loss of adjacent teeth, can be a challenge for orthodontists. There are many mechanics used to correct this inclination, but it is necessary to analyze the side effects that can be caused during the verticalization process. The present work deals with a case report where a root correction loop was chosen, activated in the VI geometry and associated with a mini inverted thread bracket head screw, a mechanic that brings a minimum of unwanted side effects.

Son muchas las mecánicas que se utilizan para corregir esta inclinación, pero es necesario analizar los efectos secundarios que se pueden ocasionar durante el proceso de verticalización. El presente trabajo trata de un caso clínico donde se eligió un bucle de corrección de raíz, activado en la geometría VI y asociado a un mini tornillo de cabeza de soporte de rosca invertida, una mecánica que trae un mínimo de efectos secundarios no deseados.A verticalização de molares inclinados seja devido a anodontias ou perdas precoces de dentes adjacentes pode ser um desafio para os ortodontistas. Muitas são as mecânicas usadas para corrigir essa inclinação, porém é necessário, análise dos efeitos colaterais que podem ser provocados durante o processo de verticalização.
