From the absence in initial training to the ground floor: the difficulties faced by teachers of basic education in Caxias / MA in the applicability of law 10.639 / 2003 in the teaching of History

Resumo: From the enactment of Law 10,639 / 2013, it became mandatory to include teaching on Afro-Brazilian and African History and Culture in Brazilian school institutions, both in elementary and high school, being a political and pedagogical framework for education of Brazil. Thus, this article seeks to reflect on the experiences of teachers of History of Basic Education, in Caxias / MA, what difficulties were faced in view of the applicability of the aforementioned law, with regard to the teaching of Afro-Brazilian and African History and Culture in the classroom. Thus, the data collected were acquired through the use of an electronic questionnaire, with the population of 20 History teachers, working in the Municipal Network of the City of Caxias / MA. In view of the collected data, we found that teachers feel difficulties to carry out a more representative insertion of issues related to Afro-Brazilian History and Culture in the classroom, given the absence in the process of initial and continuing education, in addition the school environment itself does not contribute to assist in enforcing the law, as school institutions still have a restricted view of the various possibilities of insertion to what the law adds.

Así, este artículo busca reflexionar sobre las experiencias de los profesores de Historia de la Educación Básica, en Caxias / MA, qué dificultades enfrentaron en vista de la aplicabilidad de la referida ley, en lo que respecta a la enseñanza de la Historia y Cultura Afrobrasileña y Africana. En el aula. Así, los datos recolectados fueron adquiridos mediante el uso de un cuestionario electrónico, con la población de 20 profesores de Historia, que trabajan en la Red Municipal del Ayuntamiento de Caxias / MA. A la vista de los datos recolectados, encontramos que los docentes sienten dificultades para llevar a cabo una inserción más representativa de los temas relacionados con la Historia y Cultura Afrobrasileña en el aula, dada la ausencia en el proceso de educación inicial y continua, además el ambiente escolar en sí no contribuye para ayudar a hacer cumplir la ley, ya que las instituciones escolares aún tienen una visión restringida de las diversas posibilidades de inserción a lo que agrega la ley.A partir da promulgação da Lei 10.639/2013, tornou-se obrigatória a inclusão do ensino sobre a História e Cultura Afro-brasileira e Africana nas instituições escolares brasileiras, tanto no ensino fundamental como no médio, sendo um marco político e pedagógico para a educação do Brasil. Assim, o presente artigo busca refletir a partir das experiências dos professores de História da Educação Básica, em Caxias/MA, quais as dificuldades enfrentadas diante da aplicabilidade da lei acima mencionada, no que tange o ensino de História e Cultura Afro-brasileira e Africana em sala de aula. Desse modo, os dados coletados foram adquiridos a partir do uso de questionário eletrônico, com a população de 20 professores da disciplina História, atuantes na Rede Municipal da Cidade de Caxias/MA.
