Competence profile of Nursing managers of Higher Education in São Paulo: analysis of reliability

Resumo: This paper aims to present the results obtained in the application of competences profile to undergraduated manager nurses in Nursing who work in the State of São Paulo using the statistical method of internal consistency evaluation. Methodological and descriptive study was used. This research was answered by 44 manager nurses and the competence profile had 62 statements in 3 domains of competence: educational, administrative and individual. The global Cronbach alpha was 0,909 for the educational domain, 0,897 for the administrative and 0,867 for the individual. The coefficient of variation was between 0,048 and 0,061. The Competence Profile has internal consistency classified as good and the coefficient of variation was good accuracy. The statistical interpretations that the competency profile was submitted guarantee its reliability for use by the scientific community.

Estudio metodológico y descritivo. El Perfil de Competencias fue respondido  por 44 enfermeras gerentes y contenía 62 afirmaciones  distribuidas en 03 dominios de competencia: educacional, administrativa y individuale. El alfa de Cronbach global fue 0.909 para el dominio educativo, 0.897 para administrativo y 0.867 para individuale. El coeficiente de variación fue entre 0.048 y 0.061, buena precisión de ajuste de los ítems del instrumento. La interpretación estadística que se presentó el perfil de competencias garantizado su confiabilidad para su uso por la comunidad científica.Este artigo teve como objetivo apresentar os resultados obtidos na aplicação de um Perfil de Competências aos enfermeiros gestores de ensino superior em Enfermagem que atuam no estado de São Paulo empregando o método estatístico de avaliação da consistência interna. Pesquisa metodológica e descritiva realizada entre os anos de 2014 e 2015. O Perfil de Competências foi respondido por 44 enfermeiros gestores de ensino superior e continha 62 afirmativas distribuídas em 03 domínios de competência: educacional, administrativa e individual. O alpha de Cronbach global foi de 0.909 para o domínio educacional, 0.897 para o administrativo e 0.867 para o individual. O coeficiente de variação ficou entre 0.048 e 0.061 configurando boa precisão dos itens do instrumento.
