Resumo: The present study aimed to identify and understand the challenges to provide adequate rehabilitation for post-Covid-19 patients. The research consisted of a descriptive-quantitative study, which used primary sources to obtain data. It was based on the application of an online questionnaire using multiple choice questions who the main audience was the physical therapists who attended/are attending patients with sequelae of Covid-19. The responses of 51 physiotherapists were analyzed and with the results obtained by the survey, it was possible to identify that there was an increase in demand for professional physiotherapists by patients who presented sequelae after Covid-19, mainly by those who had to stay in the Intensive Unit Care (ICU). Finally, it can be concluded that more research is needed to determine and establish a post Covid-19 rehabilitation program, as this is an extremely important approach, although the scenario is still new and discoveries are being made about the disease and its consequences.

Research, Society and Development2022-01-13info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/2526810.33448/rsd-v11i1.25268Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 No. 1; e49311125268Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 Núm. 1; e49311125268Research, Society and Development; v. 11 n. 1; e493111252682525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/25268/22104Copyright (c) 2022 Bruna Stéfany Alves Silva ; Jefferson Yuri Teixeira Lima ; Carla dos Santos Fernandes; Gracielle Sousa Ferreira ; Geziella Aurea Aparecida Damasceno Souza; Maria Carolina Soares Lopes; Jéssica de Castro; Ellen Aparecida Guimarães Bezerra; Maximino Alencar Bezerra Júnior https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSilva , Bruna Stéfany Alves Lima , Jefferson Yuri Teixeira Fernandes, Carla dos Santos Ferreira , Gracielle Sousa Souza, Geziella Aurea Aparecida Damasceno Lopes, Maria Carolina Soares Castro, Jéssica de Bezerra, Ellen Aparecida Guimarães Bezerra Júnior , Maximino Alencar 2022-01-16T18:08:18Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/25268Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:43:35.488088Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
