Resumo: Wireless sensor networks have been applied extensively in home and industrial automation. The objective of this project is to develop a wireless sensor network with Mesh topology using the ZigBee protocol. For the development of the research used a case study, where there is a description of the elaboration of devices and development of a wireless sensor network. The network is equipped with coordinating devices, routers and an end device. As a result, the network was tested in order to validate the ability to restructure and self-organize the Mesh topology based on the protocol used.

El objetivo de este proyecto es desarrollar una red de sensores inalámbricos con topología Mesh utilizando el protocolo ZigBee. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se utilizó un caso de estudio, donde se describe la elaboración de dispositivos y desarrollo de una red de sensores inalámbricos. La red está equipada con dispositivos de coordinación, enrutadores y un dispositivo final. Como resultado, se probó la red para validar la capacidad de reestructurar y autoorganizar la topología de malla en función del protocolo utilizado.Redes de sensores wireless vem sendo extensivamente aplicadas na automação residencial e industrial. O objetivo desse projeto é desenvolver uma rede de sensores sem fio com topologia Mesh utilizando protocolo ZigBee. Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa utilizou um estudo de caso, onde há a descrição da elaboração de dispositivos e desenvolvimento de rede de sensores sem fio. A rede é dotada de dispositivos coordenador, roteadores e end device.
