Resumo: From the analysis of the film Mary and Max, the present study aims to present a playful way of promoting the rehabilitation of children diagnosed with ASD, proposing the creation of a box containing activities based on the Portfolios of Didactic and Pedagogical Materials, which aim to work the functions cognitive aspects of perception, attention, memory and language. First, a bibliographic mapping of the scientific evolution regarding the studies of autism, as well as its cognitive and diagnostic aspects, was carried out, thus showing the specific characteristics of this disorder. Based on this, a proposal was made to construct play activities to stimulate the cognitive functions of children with ASD in order to assist in cognitive assessment and rehabilitation.

En primer lugar se realizó un mapeo bibliográfico de la evolución científica acerca de los estudios del autismo, así como sus aspectos cognitivos y diagnósticos, mostrando así las características específicas de este trastorno. A partir de eso, se elaboró una propuesta de construcción de actividades lúdicas para estimular las funciones cognitivas de niños con TEA con la finalidad de auxiliar en la evaluación y rehabilitación cognitiva.A partir da análise do filme Mary and Max, o presente estudo objetiva apresentar uma forma lúdica de promover a reabilitação de crianças diagnosticadas com TEA, propondo a confecção de uma caixa contendo atividades baseadas nos Portfólios de Materiais Didáticos e Pedagógicos, que visam trabalhar as funções cognitivas da percepção, atenção, memória e linguagem. Primeiramente foi realizado um mapeamento bibliográfico da evolução científica a respeito dos estudos do autismo, assim como seus aspectos cognitivos e diagnósticos, mostrando assim as características específicas deste transtorno.
