Labor compliance: an analysis of possible impacts on organizations

Resumo: | The elaboration of this essay, which communicates research results, had the general objective of analyzing, on a theoretical level, relevant aspects of compliance management, namely, its implementation, its objectives, scope and nature; the difference between the Integrity and Compliance Programs; the possible products and the potential resonance in the work environment with regard to risk management. Considering the diversity of normative and institutional sources by compliance area and its natural complexity, the labor specialty was established as a delimitation of approach. This investigation, essentially exploratory and descriptive, resulted in pertinent reflection and considerations about the favorable arguments (reasons, motives and intentions) for the implementation of these Programs, which reinforced the importance of building a culture of integrity, far beyond that of compliance. The idea of integrity goes beyond the normative dimension, reaching the evaluative, philosophical, behavioral and cultural dimension, fundamental to genuine engagement and continuous improvement. |

Considerando la diversidad de fuentes normativas e institucionales por área de cumplimiento y su natural complejidad, se estableció como delimitación de enfoque la especialidad laboral. Esta investigación, esencialmente exploratória e descriptiva, arrojó pertinentes reflexiones y consideraciones acerca de los argumentos favorables (razones, motivos e intenciones) para la implementación de estos Programas, lo que reforzó la importancia de construir una cultura de integridad, mucho más allá de la de cumplimiento. La idea de integridad va más allá de la dimensión normativa, alcanzando la dimensión evaluativa, filosófica, comportamental y cultural, fundamental para el compromiso genuino y la mejora continua.A elaboração deste ensaio, que comunica resultados de pesquisa, teve como objetivo geral analisar, em plano teórico, aspectos relevantes da gestão de conformidade, quais sejam, a sua implementação, os seus objetivos, escopo e natureza; a diferença entre os Programas de integridade e conformidade; os produtos possíveis e a potencial ressonância no meio ambiente de trabalho no que diz respeito à gestão de risco. Considerando a diversidade de fontes normativas e institucionais por área de compliance e a sua natural complexidade, estabeleceu-se como delimitação de abordagem a especialidade trabalhista. Desta investigação, essencialmente exploratório-descritiva, resultaram reflexões e ponderações pertinentes acerca dos argumentos favoráveis (razões, motivos e intenções) à implantação desses Programas, as quais reforçaram a importância da construção de uma cultura de integridade, para muito além daquela de conformidade.
