Quality of life of residents of a Health Multiprofessional Integrated Program during COVID-19 pandemic

Resumo: Objective: to evaluate The Quality of Life (QOL) of residents of an Integrated Multiprofessional Health Program in a hospital university from Recife / PE, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methodology: This is a descriptive, cross-sectional and quantitative study, carried out with 36 residents in the areas of Nephrology and Women's Health, in the first and second years of specialization. Data collection was carried out between August and September 2020, using as instruments a structured questionnaire to characterize participants with sociodemographic, economic, clinical and work data in the multiprofessional residency program, and SF-36, available online. For data analysis, descriptive statistics were calculated by frequency distribution and application of tests in SPSS software, version 21, considering the significance of 5%. Results: Residents had better QOL in the domains: Functional Capacity, Pain and General Health; and worse QOL in: Emotional, Vitality and Mental health. Among the participating categories,physical therapists obtained better QOL scores in all domains evaluated, except for Emotional which the psychologists stood out. When comparing the year of specialization, no results were significant between the domains, since among the area of ​​concentration, Nephrology residents obtained better results in Functional Capacity and Vitality. Conclusion: Concludes that COVID-19 was one of the markers for changes in the health status, well-being and satisfaction related to the work of multiprofessional residents in health, with a decrease in the quality of life index, according to the SF-36 domains.

Metodología: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, transversal y cuantitativo, realizado con 36 residentes de las áreas de Nefrología y Salud de la Mujer, en el primer y segundo año de especialización. La recolección de datos se realizó entre agosto y septiembre de 2020, utilizando como instrumentos un cuestionario estructurado para caracterizar a los participantes con datos sociodemográficos, económicos, clínicos y laborales en el programa de residencia multiprofesional, y SF-36, disponible en linea. Para el análisis de los datos se calculó la estadística descriptiva mediante distribución de frecuencias y aplicación de pruebas en el software SPSS, versión 21, considerando la significancia del 5%. Resultados: Los residentes tuvieron mejor calidad de vida en los dominios: Capacidad funcional, Dolor y Salud General; y peor CV en: Emocional, Vitalidad ySalud mental. Entre las categorías participantes,los fisioterapeutas obtuvieron mejores puntajes de calidad de vida en todos los dominios evaluados, excepto Emoen el que se destacaron los psicólogos. Al comparar el año de especialización, no hubo resultados significativos entre los dominios, ya que entre el área de concentración, los residentes de Nefrología obtuvieron mejores resultados en Capacidad Funcional y Vitalidad. Conclusión: Concluye que el COVID-19 fue uno de los marcadores de cambios en el estado de salud, bienestar y satisfacción relacionados con el trabajo de los residentes multiprofesionales en salud, con una disminución en el índice de calidad de vida, según los dominios del SF-36.Objetivo: avaliar a Qualidade de Vida (QV) dos residentes de um Programa Multiprofissional Integrado em Saúde, em um hospital universitário do Recife/PE, durante a pandemia da COVID-19. A coleta de dados foi realizada entre agosto e setembro de 2020, utilizando como instrumentos um questionário estruturado de caracterização dos participantes com dados sociodemográficos, econômicos, clínicos e laborais no programa de residência multiprofissional, e o SF-36, disponibilizados online. Para análise dos dados, foram calculadas as estatísticas descritivas pela distribuição de frequência e aplicação de testes no software SPSS, versão 21, considerando a significância de 5%. Resultados: Os residentes apresentaram melhor QV nos domínios: Capacidade Funcional, Dor e Estado Geral de Saúde; e pior QV em: Emocional, Vitalidade e Saúde Mental. Dentre as categorias participantes, fisioterapeutas obtiveram melhores pontuações da QV em todos os domínios avaliados, exceto para o Emocional, no qual os psicólogos se destacaram. Ao comparar ano de especialização, nenhum resultado foi expressivo entre os domínios, já entre a área de concentração, os residentes de Nefrologia obtiveram melhores resultados na Capacidade Funcional e Vitalidade.
