COVID-19 in the paramentation movements of dressing and disposing of nurses: nightingale, the pioneer, was reasoned!

Resumo: Objectives: To analyze the time and movements performed by nurses when changing personal protective equipment during 12-hour shifts with people contaminated by COVID-19 and; Discuss the implications of vesting with personal protective equipment for nurses in the practice of caring for people contaminated by COVID-19. Methodology: This is a study based on the method of video film analysis, conducted in the months of April and May 2020. The method allows the evaluation of procedures, practical situations or eventualities in the images produced, understanding that the image is configured pre-text component for reflection and, looking for significant elements that represent certain traits of social life. Results: Evidence of the need to perform hundreds of repetitive movements so that the changes of entry and exit of the shift are possible, in addition to exchanges to eat and do your physiological needs, requiring physical effort and emotional exhaustion, associated with the lack of protective resources individual risk, imminent risks of contracting the disease and fear of dying. Conclusion: Florence Nightingale was right when she stated that Nursing is the main barrier of protection for patients, however, for the Nursing team to act on the frontline of care in the current pandemic, the availability of personal protective equipment is an essential condition Promoting the safety of these professionals and controlling the spread of the disease in the environment, as well as providing favorable conditions for nature to exercise its role in curing people infected by the virus.

Metodología: Este es un estudio basado en el método de análisis de video de videos, realizado en los meses de abril y mayo de 2020. El método permite la evaluación de procedimientos, situaciones prácticas o eventualidades en las imágenes producidas, entendiendo que la imagen está configurada componente previo al texto para la reflexión y la búsqueda de elementos significativos que representen ciertos rasgos de la vida social. Resultados: evidencia de la necesidad de realizar cientos de movimientos repetitivos para que los cambios de entrada y salida del turno sean posibles, además de intercambios para comer y hacer sus necesidades fisiológicas, que requieren esfuerzo físico y agotamiento emocional, asociado con la falta de recursos protectores riesgo individual, riesgos inminentes de contraer la enfermedad y miedo a morir. Conclusión: Florence Nightingale tenía razón cuando afirmó que la Enfermería es la principal barrera de protección para los pacientes, sin embargo, para que el equipo de Enfermería actúe en la primera línea de atención en la pandemia actual, la disponibilidad de equipos de protección personal es una condición esencial. Promover la seguridad de estos profesionales y controlar la propagación de la enfermedad en el medio ambiente, así como proporcionar condiciones favorables para que la naturaleza ejerza su papel en la curación de las personas infectadas por el virus.Objetivos: Analisar o tempo e os movimentos realizados pelos enfermeiros na troca de equipamentos de proteção individual durante plantões de 12 horas junto a pessoas contaminadas pelo COVID-19 e; Discutir sobre as implicações da paramentação com equipamentos de proteção individual para os enfermeiros na prática de cuidar de pessoas contaminadas pelo COVID-19. Metodologia: Trata-se de estudo pautado no método de análise fílmica de vídeos, realizado nos meses de abril e maio de 2020. O método permite a avaliação de procedimentos, situações práticas ou eventualidades nas imagens produzidas, compreendendo-se que a imagem se configura componente pré-texto para reflexão e, buscando elementos significativos que representem determinados traços da vida social. Resultados: Evidenciam a necessidade de realizar centenas de movimentos repetitivos para que sejam possíveis as trocas de entrada e saída do plantão, assomada às trocas para se alimentar e fazer suas necessidades fisiológicas, exigindo esforço físico e desgaste emocional, associados à falta de recursos de proteção individual,  riscos iminentes de contrair a doença e medo de morrer.  Conclusão: Florence Nightingale tinha razão quando afirmou que a Enfermagem é a principal barreira de proteção dos pacientes, porém, para que a equipe de Enfermagem atue na linha de frente do cuidado na atual pandemia, a disponibilidade de equipamentos de proteção individual se apresenta condição essencial.
