Urban variability in Recife - PE, through contributions: precipitation, temperature and relative air humidity

Resumo: | The objective of this study is to study urban variability, through the contributions of pluviometric indices, temperatures and relative humidity, comparing the periods 1931-1960; 1961-1990 and 1991-2016 for precipitation and the 1962-1990 and 1991-2016 periods for temperature and relative humidity of the 1931-2016 and 1962-2016 averages respectively, attempting to quantify climate change and to identify the Influence of large-scale El Niño events, aiming to contribute to the managers responsible for urban planning and improving the quality of life of the inhabitants and the ecosystem. Rainfall, temperature and humidity data were used by the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET). Basic statistical parameters were calculated as well as variations of the annual anomalies in order to identify buoyancy in the data and the influence of extreme events. These fluctuations in the pluviometric indices registered in the periods of 1931-1960; 1961-1990 and 1991-2016 may be related to the following factors or facts: The expansion of the municipality both vertically and horizontally; The exchange of the place of the rain gauge from the urban area to near the zone of the forest and near the river; And due to urban afforestation. The city of Recife suffered from disorderly growth, with no specific patterns of planning in urbanization that caused variations in the microclimate of the urbis, causing thermal discomfort and reducing the quality of life of its inhabitants. There is an intense flow of automotive vehicles and people throughout the day due to activities related to work, commerce and services, as well as the concentration of various buildings, waterproofed areas as well as buildings making circulation of local air difficult. It is suggested an increase of green areas interbairros from the afforestation that has been shown as an alternative for the improvement of the quality of life in urban spaces. |

Se utilizaron datos de precipitación, temperatura y humedad del aire, del Instituto Nacional de Meteorología (INMET). Se calcularon los parámetros estadísticos básicos y las variaciones anuales de las anomalías para identificar la flotabilidad de los datos y la influencia de los eventos extremos. Estas fluctuaciones en las precipitaciones registradas en los períodos 1931-1960; 1961-1990 y 1991-2016 puede estar relacionado con los siguientes factores o hechos: La expansión del municipio tanto vertical como horizontalmente; cambiar la ubicación del pluviómetro del entorno urbano a cerca del área forestal y cerca del río; y debido a la forestación urbana. La ciudad de Recife padecía un crecimiento desordenado, sin normas de planificación específicas en la urbanización que provocaban variaciones en el microclima de las urbis, provocando malestar térmico y reducción de la calidad de vida de sus habitantes. Durante todo el día se presenta un intenso flujo de vehículos automotores y personas producto de actividades relacionadas con el trabajo, el comercio y los servicios, además de la concentración de diversas edificaciones, áreas impermeabilizadas así como edificaciones que dificultan la circulación del aire local. Se sugiere un incremento de áreas verdes entre barrios a partir de la forestación que se ha mostrado como una alternativa para mejorar la calidad de vida en los espacios urbanos.Objetiva-se estudar a variabilidade urbana, por meio das contribuições dos índices pluviométricos, temperaturas e umidade relativa do ar, comparando-se os períodos 1931-1960; 1961-1990 e 1991-2016 para a precipitação e os períodos de 1962-1990 e de 1991-2016 para temperatura e umidade relativa do ar com as médias de 1931-2016 e 1962-2016 respectivamente, procurando quantificar as alterações climáticas e identificar a influência de eventos climáticos de larga escala El Niño(a), visando contribuir com os gestores responsáveis pelo planejamento urbano e melhoria da qualidade de vida dos habitantes e do ecossistema. A cidade do Recife sofreu com o crescimento desordenado, sem padrões específicos de planejamento na urbanização que provocaram variações no microclima da urbis, acarretando desconforto térmico e redução da qualidade de vida dos seus habitantes. Registra-se intenso fluxo de veículos automotivos e pessoas durante todo dia decorrente de atividades relativas a trabalho, comércio e serviços, além da concentração de várias construções, áreas impermeabilizadas bem como edifícios dificultando a circulação do ar local.
