Resumo: This article is an excerpt of a research performed with a pedagogical supervisor from children’s education on the public educational system at Mossoró city (Rio Grande do Norte state – Brazil), which title is “The meanings embodying oneself as a pedagogical supervisor: reflections of a children’s education professional”. This study aims apprehending the meanings embodied by a supervisor about the continuous educational in order to qualify children’s education professional. It is based both theoretically and methodologically on Sociohistorical Psychology and on dialectical and historical materialism, for we understand the importance of this approach/method to apprehend the meanings as a process mediated by continuous educational training in the context of his/her social and professional work. Regarding data production, we adopted the reflexive interview procedure. The interpretative analysis of the produced data was carried out by the means of proposal named “Cores of Meaning”. We comprehend that the senses embodied by the supervisor reveal the continuous educational training as a mediator of situations experienced on his/her professional reality, on the relationship with the other professionals. Therefore, the process of continuous educational training fosters the constitution of new senses for the mediation of his/her activity.

Este estudio tiene como objetivo aprehender las significaciones constituidas por una supervisora sobre la formación continuada, a fin de calificar educadores que actúan en la Educación Infantil. Se fundamenta teórica y metodológicamente en la psicología socio-histórica y en el materialismo histórico-dialéctico, por entender la importancia de este enfoque / método para aprehender las significaciones como un proceso mediado por la formación continuada en el contexto de su actuación social y profesional. Para la producción de las informaciones, adoptamos el procedimiento de la entrevista reflexiva. El análisis interpretativo de las informaciones producidas fue realizado mediante la propuesta Núcleos de Significación. Comprendemos que los sentidos constituidos por la supervisora revelan la formación continuada como acción mediadora de situaciones vivenciadas en su realidad profesional, en la relación con los demás profesionales. Luego, es en el proceso de la formación continuada que se potencia la constitución de nuevos sentidos para mediación de su actividad.O presente artigo é o recorte de uma pesquisa realizada com uma supervisora pedagógica da Educação Infantil na rede pública de ensino do município de Mossoró/RN, cujo título é “As significações do constituir-se supervisora pedagógica: reflexões de uma profissional da Educação Infantil”. Este estudo tem como objetivo apreender as significações constituídas por uma supervisora sobre a formação continuada, a fim de qualificar educadores que atuam na Educação Infantil. Fundamenta-se teórica e metodologicamente na psicologia sócio-histórica e no materialismo histórico-dialético, por entendermos a importância dessa abordagem/método para apreender as significações como um processo mediado pela formação continuada no contexto de sua atuação social e profissional. Para produção das informações, adotamos o procedimento da entrevista reflexiva. A análise interpretativa das informações produzidas foi realizada mediante a proposta Núcleos de Significação. Compreendemos que os sentidos constituídos pela supervisora revelam a formação continuada como ação mediadora de situações vivenciadas na sua realidade profissional, na relação com os demais profissionais.
