Resumo: | The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondônia has a Student Assistance Policy (PAE) through which it offers student assistance programs, among which there is the Permanence Assistance Program (PROAP) which grants financial aid to economically vulnerable students to help with transportation and food costs. This work aims to raise the profile of students attended by PROAP in the years 2017, 2018 and 2019. Therefore, a qualitative descriptive research was carried out, considering the aspects of course, shift, gender, age and per capita income. In the end, it was possible to understand that, on average, those covered are from the technical course of Buildings Integrated with High School, morning shift, aged between 18 and 20 years, female, living with 3 people, and with a per capita income of up to half the minimum wage. |

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo elevar el perfil de los estudiantes atendidos por PROAP en los años 2017, 2018 y 2019. Para ello, se realizó una investigación cualitativa descriptiva, considerando los aspectos de carrera, turno, género, edad y renta per cápita. Al final, se pudo entender que, en promedio, los cubiertos son del curso técnico de Edificaciones Integradas a la Secundaria, turno mañana, con edad entre 18 y 20 años, sexo femenino, conviven con 3 personas, y con una per ingresos per cápita de hasta la mitad del salario mínimo.O Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Rondônia possui uma Política de Assistência Estudantil (PAE) por meio do qual oferta programas de assistência estudantil, dentre os quais, há o Programa de Auxílio Permanência (PROAP) que concede auxílios financeiros para estudantes economicamente vulneráveis com o objetivo de ajudar nas despesas com transporte e alimentação. Este trabalho visa levantar o perfil dos discentes atendidos pelo PROAP nos anos de 2017, 2018 e 2019. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa descritiva qualitativa, considerando os aspectos curso, turno, gênero, idade e renda per capita.
