Challenges of physiotherapy during humanized labor: integrative review

Resumo: This integrative review aimed to describe the process of humanized childbirth and the challenges of physical therapy during this process, through searches were performed in the bases BVS, Scielo, PubMed, and Google Academic and PEDro using combinations of descriptors. There were after applying the eligibility criteria 6 publications in this review from the period 2017 to 2022. It was found that the challenges of physiotherapy in the process of humanized childbirth are many, from the implementation in practice of the policy of humanization of hospital care, from the direct influence of the institutional mission in the continuation of the technicist modus operandi of childbirth, from the training, training, recognition, hiring and sensitivity of physiotherapy professionals in this performance. However, it is recommended that further research be conducted to strengthen this role and reduce the challenges presented in this review.

Hubo después de aplicar los criterios de elegibilidad 6 publicaciones en esta revisión, del período 2017 a 2022. Se encontró que los desafíos de la fisioterapia en el proceso de parto humanizado son muchos, desde la implementación en la práctica de la política de humanización de la atención hospitalaria, desde la influencia directa de la misión institucional en la continuación del modus operandi tecnicista del parto, desde la formación, capacitación, reconocimiento, contratación y sensibilidad de los profesionales de la fisioterapia en este desempeño. Sin embargo, se recomienda que se lleven a cabo más investigaciones para fortalecer esta acción y reducir los desafíos presentados en esta revisión.Esta revisão integrativa objetivou descrever o processo do parto humanizado e os desafios da fisioterapia durante este processo, através de buscas foram realizadas nas bases BVS, Scielo, PubMed, e Google Acadêmico e PEDro utilizando as combinações dos descritores. Foram após a aplicação dos critérios de elegibilidade 6 publicações nesta revisão, do período de 2017 a 2022. Constatou-se que os desafios da fisioterapia no processo do parto humanizado são muitos, desde a implantação na prática da política de humanização da assistência hospitalar, da influência direta da missão institucional na continuação do modus operandi tecnicista do parto, desde a formação, capacitação, reconhecimento, contratação e sensibilidade dos profissionais da fisioterapia nesta atuação.
