Resumo: | The objective of this research was to analyze the main improvements and challenges of health information management, from the implementation of the Strategy "e-SUS Primary Health Care" in the municipality of Doutor Severiano-RN. The research is characterized as a case study of exploratory and descriptive nature, with a qualitative approach. In the research universe were 17 servers of the Primary Health Care in the municipality of Doutor Severiano/RN. Data collection was done through an open and closed questionnaire, applied through Google Forms. The data were analyzed by the content analysis technique. Based on the analyzed data, it was found that the main challenges faced by professionals are the lack of training and technical support, and that the main improvements from the implementation of the e-SUS strategy was the agility and quality of information. Therefore, it is concluded that the studied municipality aims to optimize its PHC information management, contributing positively to public health. |

La investigación se caracteriza por ser un estudio de caso de carácter exploratorio y descriptivo, con enfoque cualitativo. En el universo de la investigación fueron 17 servidores de la Atención Primaria de Salud del municipio de Doutor Severiano/RN. La recogida de datos se realizó mediante un cuestionario abierto y cerrado, aplicado por Google Forms. Los datos se analizaron mediante la técnica de análisis de contenido. A partir de los datos analizados, se constató que los principales retos a los que se enfrentan los profesionales son la falta de formación y de apoyo técnico, y que las principales mejoras de la implantación de la estrategia e-SUS fueron la agilidad y la calidad de la información. Por lo tanto, se concluye que el municipio estudiado pretende optimizar su gestión de la información de la APS, contribuyendo positivamente a la salud pública.O objetivo desta pesquisa consistiu em analisar as principais melhorias e desafios da gestão da informação em saúde, a partir da implantação da Estratégia "e-SUS Atenção Primária à Saúde", no município de Doutor Severiano-RN. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como um estudo de caso de caráter exploratório e descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa. No universo da pesquisa foram 17 servidores da Atenção Primária à Saúde no município de Doutor Severiano/RN. A coleta de dados deu-se por meio de um questionário aberto e fechado, aplicado pelo Google Forms. Os dados foram analisados pela técnica de análise de conteúdo. Diante dos dados analisados, constatou-se que os principais desafios enfrentados pelos profissionais são a falta de capacitação e suporte técnico, e que as principais melhorias a partir da implantação da estratégia e-SUS foi a agilidade e qualidade das informações.
