Hepatitis B: an epidemiological analysis of notifications in the state of Pará in the period from 2015 to 2020

Resumo: Objective: To develop the epidemiological profile of Hepatitis B in the state of Pará from 2015 to 2020. Methods: An epidemiological, longitudinal, retrospective, analytical and exploratory study was carried out, based on a quantitative research, through the collection of data from the Department f Informatics of the Unified Health System (DATASUS) in the period between the years 2015 to 2020. Result: In the year 2015 to 2020, in th state of Pará, 170.967 cases of Hepatitis B were registered. The highest number occurred in the year 2014 with 4.785 records. According to age group, the most affected were between 40 and 59 years old, with 78.73 notifications. The number of cases was higher in relation to males, with 98.233 records. Regarding race, White women registered a greater number of cases, totaling 80.324. According to the distribution of cases, totaling 80.324. According to the distribution of cases by health regions, Metropolitan Region I showed the highest incidence, registering 1.273 cases. Regarding the etiologies, there was a greater number of registrations of the C Virus, with a total of 91.660 cases. Conclusion: According to the data presented by DATASUS, in the state of Pará, there were more than 30,000 registered cases of Hepatitis B, between the years 2015 to 2020, in 2019 there were 27,616 records, and a lower number in the year 2020 with 12,333 cases. The epidemiological profile shows that more male patients were affected, Caucasian and in the Metropolitan Region I. Regarding the age group, they were most affected between 40 and 59 years, and then between 20 and 39 years, with more cases in the adulthood, as this age group is more exposed to agglomerations, and thus, more susceptible to infections.

Resultado: En el año 2015 a 2020, en el estado de Pará, se registraron 170.967 casos de Hepatitis B. El mayor número ocurrió en el año 2014 con 4.785 registros. Según grupo de edad, los más afectados tuvieron entre 40 y 59 años, con 78.731 (%) notificaciones. El número de casos fue mayor en relación al sexo masculino, con 98.233 (%) registros. En cuanto a lar aza, las mujeres blancas registraron un mayor número de casos, totalizando 80.324 (%). De acuerdo con la distribuición de casos por regiones de salud, la Región Metropolitana I presentó la mayor incidência al registrar 1.273 casos. En cuanto a las etiologias, hubo un mayor número de registros del Virus, C, con un total de 91.660 (%) casos. Conclusión: Según los datos presentados por DATASUS, en el estado de Pará, hubo más de 30.000 casos registrados de Hepatitis B, entre 2015 y 2020, en 2019 hubo 27.616 registros, y un número menor en 2020 con 12.333 casos. El perfil epidemiológico muestra que fueron más afectados los pacientes del sexo masculino, caucásicos y en la Región Metropolitana I. En cuanto a la edad, fueron más afectados entre los 40 y 59 años, y luego entre los 20 y 39 años, con más casos en la edad adulta, como este grupo de edad está más expuesto a las multitudes y, por lo tanto, es más susceptible a las infecciones.Objetivo: Desenvolver o perfil epidemiológico da Hepatite B no estado do Pará de 2015 a 2020. Métodos: Foi realizado um estudo epidemiológico, longitudinal, retrospectivo, de forma analítica e exploratória, com base em uma pesquisa quantitativa, através da coleta de dados do Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde (DATASUS) no período entre os anos de 2015 a 2020. Resultado: No ano de 2015 a 2020, no estado do Pará, registrados 170.967 casos de Hepatite B. O maior número ocorreu no ano de 2014 com 4.785 registros. De acordo com a faixa etária, os mais atingidos tinham entre 40 e 59 anos com 78.731 (%) notificações. O número de casos foi maior em relação ao sexo masculino, acometido com 98.233 (%) registros. Referente à raça, a branca registrou um maior número de casos, totalizando 80.324 (%). De acordo com a distribuição dos casos por regiões de saúde, a região Metropolitana I demonstrou maior incidência, registrando 1.273 casos. Em relação às etiologias, houve maior número de registro do Vírus C, sendo somado 91.660 (%) casos. Conclusão: Conforme os dados apresentados pelo DATASUS, no estado do Pará, ocorreram mais de 30.000 casos registrados de Hepatite B, entre os anos de 2015 a 2020, em 2019 ocorreram 27.616 registros, e um menor número no ano de 2020 com 12.333 casos. O perfil epidemiológico demonstra que foram acometidos mais pacientes do sexo masculino, raça branca e na região Metropolitana I.
