Resumo: Gestational hypertensive syndromes tend to appear in the 20th week of pregnancy. It can progress to pre-eclampsia, eclampsia and HELLP syndrome, so it is extremely important to carry out effective prenatal care, highlighting the professional nurse, who has technical and scientific knowledge to successfully carry out consultations and guidelines. To analyze the profile of pregnant women who died due to hypertensive syndromes, correlating the possible causes and the outcome of these highly relevant pathologies. This article is a cross-sectional, analytical and descriptive study, which will use secondary data available at the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System (DATASUS), in the data sub-item “vital statistics”, considering mortality, which contains SHEG as causality. In the period of analysis, it was noticed that in the state of Paraná between the years 2015 to 2019 it reached a total of 58 deaths in women with gestational hypertensive syndromes. From the data analysis, we can see that the number of deaths from gestational hypertensive syndromes is a health indicator that reflects on socioeconomic factors, quality of health care and social inequalities. Therefore, the importance of an approach focused on the prevention of these pathologies is seen, through interventions with the objective of reducing mortality during the pregnancy-puerperal cycle, which should be prevalent in health units.

Research, Society and Development2022-09-21info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/3443110.33448/rsd-v11i12.34431Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 No. 12; e484111234431Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 Núm. 12; e484111234431Research, Society and Development; v. 11 n. 12; e4841112344312525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/34431/29288Copyright (c) 2022 Debora Pintro Bueno; Daiane Campoi Santos; Lucas Benedito Fogaça Rabito; Marcella Correia Vaz; Hanny Karoliny Lima Neves; Camila Pawelskihttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessBueno, Debora Pintro Santos, Daiane Campoi Rabito, Lucas Benedito Fogaça Vaz, Marcella Correia Neves, Hanny Karoliny Lima Pawelski, Camila2022-09-26T11:56:08Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/34431Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:49:43.845023Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
