Entrepreneurial learning: a bibliometric analysis of the past decade

Resumo: The present bibliometric study aims to analyze the scientific production on the theme Entrepreneurial Learning, in the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus (Capes, 2020) databases. This research is characterized with a descriptive nature, quantitative approach and application of bibliometric analysis. Using the theme "entrepreneurial learning", the search was delimited in the period from 2010 to 2020. The analysis considered the following elements: time evolution, total number of publications, thematic area, type of document, countries, main authors and citation report. As a method for data analysis, the VOSviewer system was used to create textual maps, co-citation clusters and keywords. The results of the research show that the topic is opportune, highlighting that the type of publication with the greatest quantity is in the form of an article in the two bases surveyed. In addition, the theme has been growing gradually over the years and the publications in the Scopus database are concentrated in the United Kingdom, already in WoS, in England. It should also be noted that the area that most researches on Entrepreneurial Learning is Business, management and accounting, at Scopus and Business Economics at WoS. As a limitation of the study, the realization in only two databases stands out. It is suggested for future studies, that the sample be extended to include academic, national and international events, journals, as well as other scientific databases.

La presente investigación se caracteriza por tener un carácter descriptivo, enfoque cuantitativo y aplicación del análisis bibliométrico. Utilizando el tema “aprendizaje emprendedor”, la búsqueda se delimitó en el período de 2010 a 2020. El análisis consideró los siguientes elementos: evolución temporal, número total de publicaciones, área temática, tipo de documento, países, autores principales e informe de citas. Como método de análisis de datos, se utilizó el sistema VOSviewer para crear mapas textuales, grupos de citas conjuntas y palabras clave. Los resultados de la investigación muestran que el tema es oportuno, destacando que el tipo de publicación con mayor cantidad es en forma de artículo en las dos bases encuestadas. Además, la temática ha ido creciendo paulatinamente a lo largo de los años y las publicaciones en la base de datos Scopus se concentran en el Reino Unido, ya en el WoS, en Inglaterra. Cabe destacar también que el área que más investiga sobre Aprendizaje Emprendedor es Negocios, Gestión y Contabilidad, en Scopus y Economía Empresarial en WoS. Como limitación del estudio, destaca la realización en solo dos bases de datos. Se sugiere para estudios futuros, que la muestra se amplíe para incluir tesis, disertaciones, eventos académicos, nacionales e internacionales, revistas, así como otras bases de datos científicas.O presente estudo bibliométrico tem como objetivo analisar a produção científica sobre a temática Aprendizagem Empreendedora, nas bases de dados Web of Science (WoS) e Scopus (Capes, 2020). Os resultados da pesquisa evidenciam que o tema é oportuno, destacando, que o tipo de publicação com maior quantidade é no formato de artigo nas duas bases pesquisadas. Além disso, o tema vem crescendo de forma gradual no decorrer dos anos e que as publicações na base de dados Scopus concentram-se no Reino Unido, já na WoS, na Inglaterra. Cabe destacar ainda que a área que mais pesquisa sobre a Aprendizagem Empreendedora é Negócios, gestão e contabilidade, na Scopus e Economia de negócios na WoS. Como limitação do estudo, destaca-se a realização em apenas duas bases de dados.
