Resumo: This research is part of a new research and discussion agenda on solidarity rural credit cooperatives, which seeks to reveal the structuring, organization and impact of the insertion of a new cooperative system in the state of minas gerais, brazil. Within this perspective, the general objective of this research is to analyze, from an institutionalist perspective, the institutional origins of solidarity credit cooperatives in minas gerais from a case study and qualitative and descriptive research method. The inflections in the trajectory of the organizations that give rise to solidarity credit cooperatives in minas gerais were not promoted only as a rational strategy to increase financial performance, and an institutional dimension covered this process, conditioned by symbolic, political and faith relations. In this scenario, this organizational model emerges from relationships linked to faith (church), hoe (unions) and money (access to financial services).

En esta perspectiva, el objetivo general de esta investigación es analizar, desde una perspectiva institucionalista, los orígenes institucionales de las cooperativas de crédito solidario en minas gerais a partir de un estudio de caso y un método de investigación cualitativa y descriptiva. Las inflexiones en la trayectoria de las organizaciones que dan origen a las cooperativas de crédito solidario en minas gerais no fueron promovidas solo como una estrategia racional para incrementar el desempeño financiero, y una dimensión institucional cubrió este proceso, condicionado por las relaciones simbólicas, políticas y de fe. En este escenario, este modelo organizativo surge de relaciones vinculadas a la fe (iglesia), azada (sindicatos) y dinero (acceso a servicios financieros).Esta pesquisa é parte integrante de uma nova agenda de investigação e discussão sobre o cooperativismo de crédito rural solidário, que busca desvelar a estruturação, organização e o impacto da inserção de um novo sistema cooperativo no Estado de Minas Gerais, Brasil. Dentro dessa perspectiva, o objetivo geral desta pesquisa é analisar, sob a perspectiva institucionalista, as origens institucionais do cooperativismo de crédito solidário em Minas Gerais a partir de estudo de caso e método de pesquisa qualitativo e descritivo. As inflexões na trajetória das organizações que dão origem ao cooperativismo de crédito solidário mineiro não foram promovidas apenas como estratégia racional para ampliar o desempenho financeiro, e uma dimensão institucional revestiu esse processo, condicionado por elementos simbólicos, políticos e relações de fé.
