Socio-demographic profile of pregnancies and births that occurred in the state of Paraná between 2011 and 2019

Resumo: This article aims to analyze the socio-demographic profile of pregnancies and births that occurred in the state of Paraná between 2011 and 2019. It is an ecological study that compares social and health indicators of the population of the state. The information came from the Live Births System (SINASC) of the Ministry of Health, from all live births to mothers residing in the state of Paraná, between 2011 and 2019, the last year with available information. Reporting on the social conditions of the locality demonstrates the needs and characteristics of women residents, and contributes to the continuous design of the profile of pregnant women in order to contribute to the construction and evaluation of new health programs for women and children, and targeting of care the needs of the population served. We emphasize that teenage mothers become a vulnerable group, as many have low education followed by school dropouts, and generally belong to social classes with less access to information, so they must receive care that prioritizes their needs.

Se trata de un estudio ecológico que compara indicadores sociales y de salud de la población del estado. La información provino del Sistema de Nacidos Vivos (SINASC) del Ministerio de Salud, de todos los nacidos vivos a madres residentes en el estado de Paraná, entre 2011 y 2019, último año con información disponible. Informar sobre las condiciones sociales de la localidad evidencia las necesidades y características de las mujeres residentes, y contribuye al diseño continuo del perfil de la gestante para contribuir a la construcción y evaluación de nuevos programas de salud para mujeres y niños, y focalización de atender las necesidades de la población atendida. Destacamos que las madres adolescentes se convierten en un grupo vulnerable, ya que muchas tienen baja escolaridad seguida de deserción escolar, y generalmente pertenecen a clases sociales con menor acceso a la información, por lo que deben recibir una atención que priorice sus necesidades.O presente artigo tem como objetivo geral analisar o perfil sócio demográfico das gestações e nascimentos ocorridos no estado do Paraná entre os anos de 2011 a 2019. É um estudo do tipo ecológico que compara indicadores sociais e de saúde da população do estado. As informações foram provenientes do Sistema de nascidos vivos (SINASC) do Ministério da Saúde, de todos os nascidos vivos de mães residentes no estado Paraná, entre os anos de 2011 a 2019, último ano com informações disponíveis. Relatar sobre as condições sociais da localidade demonstra as necessidades e características das mulheres residentes, e contribui para o contínuo delineamento do perfil das gestantes a fim de contribuir para a construção e avaliação dos novos programas de saúde da mulher e da criança, e direcionamento da assistência as necessidades da população atendida.
