Nursing students' role in the “O Brasil Conta Comigo” action to confront COVID-19

Resumo: | Objective: to report the experience of nursing students working in the strategic action “O Brasil Conta Comigo” facing the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: this is a descriptive-reflective experience report, based on the experiences of nursing students in Family Health Units in the city of Curitiba-PR in the context of the strategic action, between July and December 2020. Results: the actions carried out in the health services and the managerial skills developed were described. It also reflected on the particularities of the action proposed by the federal government to control the pandemic and its impacts on students, teachers and health services. Conclusion: the performance of students enabled the development of managerial and care skills, highlighted the need for professional development and improvement of work processes in primary care, as well as having the potential to incite discussion on the subject among educational institutions. |

Método: se trata de un relato de experiencia descriptivo-reflexivo, basado en las vivencias de estudiantes de enfermería en Unidades de Salud de la Familia de la ciudad de Curitiba-PR en el contexto de acción estratégica, entre julio y diciembre de 2020. Resultados: las acciones realizadas en el se describieron los servicios de salud y las habilidades gerenciales desarrolladas. También reflexionó sobre las particularidades de la acción propuesta por el gobierno federal para controlar la pandemia y sus impactos en estudiantes, docentes y servicios de salud. Conclusión: el desempeño de los estudiantes posibilitó el desarrollo de habilidades gerenciales y asistenciales, destacó la necesidad de desarrollo profesional y mejora de los procesos de trabajo en la atención primaria, además de tener el potencial de incitar la discusión sobre el tema entre las instituciones educativas.Objetivo: relatar a experiência de estudantes de enfermagem atuantes na ação estratégica “O Brasil Conta Comigo” no enfrentamento da pandemia da COVID-19. Método: trata-se de um relato de experiência de cunho descritivo-reflexivo, pautado nas vivências de estudantes de enfermagem em Unidades de Saúde da Família do município de Curitiba-PR no contexto da ação estratégica, entre julho e dezembro de 2020. Resultados: foram descritas as ações realizadas nos serviços de saúde e as competências gerenciais desenvolvidas. Também refletiu-se sobre as particularidades da ação proposta pelo governo federal para controle da pandemia e seus impactos para estudantes, docentes e serviços de saúde.
