Resumo: Gastritis is an inflammation of the mucosa that lines the inner walls of the stomach. This state of high prevalence worldwide and its current treatments still show indecisions regarding trust in long-term treatment. Faced with this problem, subaltern possibilities to drug therapy of gastrointestinal disorders, such as chronic gastritis and other inflammatory pathologies, are significant objects for research. Phytotherapeutic treatment, through medicinal plants, is a practice used by humanity since the beginning of time; in which the treatment of diseases takes place through herbs and/or plants with curative powers, which favor the improvement of the individual's health and well-being, reaching the point of developing a curative process. The article addresses evidence gathered in the literature that seeks to find the effectiveness of Aloe vera L. in the treatment of inflammatory dysfunction related to gastritis and gastrointestinal disorders.

Esta condición es altamente prevalente en todo el mundo y su terapia actual aún muestra incertidumbres con respecto a la seguridad en el tratamiento a largo plazo. Dada esta realidad, las opciones auxiliares para la terapia farmacológica de los trastornos gastrointestinales, como la gastritis crónica y otras patologías inflamatorias, son un objetivo importante para la investigación. El tratamiento fitoterapéutico, a través de plantas medicinales, es una práctica utilizada por la humanidad desde el principio de los tiempos; en el que el tratamiento de enfermedades se realiza a través de hierbas y/o plantas con poderes curativos, que favorecen la mejora de la salud y el bienestar del individuo, llegando al punto de desarrollar un proceso curativo. El artículo aborda la evidencia recopilada en la literatura que busca encontrar la efectividad del Aloe vera L. en el tratamiento de la disfunción inflamatoria relacionada con la gastritis y los trastornos gastrointestinales.A gastrite é uma inflamação da mucosa que reveste as paredes internas do estômago. Estado esse de alta prepoderância em todo o mundo e seus atuais tratamentos ainda mostram indecisões em relação à confiança no tratamento a longo prazo. Diante de tal problemática, possibilidades subalternas à terapia medicamentosa de distúrbios gastrointestinais, como a gastrite crônica e demais patologias inflamatórias, são objetos significativos para pesquisa. O tratamento fitoterápico, por meio de plantas medicinais, é uma prática utilizada pela humanidade desde o início dos tempos; no qual o tratamento de doenças se dá por meio de ervas e/ou plantas com poderes curativos, que favorecem a melhora da saúde do indivíduo e, de seu bem-estar, chegando a desenvolver um processo curativo.
