The participation of male teachers in early childhood education in the municipality of Guaraí-TO

Resumo: For many years, the history of early childhood education has erroneously referred to the perception that, since it is about caring for young children, the most effective thing would be for women to do it because they are more sensitive to feelings. The general objective of the research is to analyze the perception of managers, coordinators and teachers of early childhood education in relation to the male performance in this stage of teaching in the municipal network of Guaraí. In addition to identifying the possible causes related to the absence of male teachers in this area, reflecting on the paradigms that society imposes in relation to male teachers within children's classrooms and analyzing the vision of the management team of the four municipal schools. The research has an exploratory purpose and a qualiquantitative approach, the present work was carried out in the municipality of Guaraí-TO. through the results and discussions, it was observed that the perception of managers, coordinators and teachers about the participation of male professionals in the first stage of basic education/Child Education, remains in a dogmatic position, since the institutions of early childhood education municipal do not have male professors on their staff working in the area.

El objetivo general de la investigación es analizar la percepción de gestores, coordinadores y docentes de educación infantil en relación al desempeño masculino en esta etapa de enseñanza en la red municipal de Guaraí. Además de identificar las posibles causas relacionadas con la ausencia de docentes varones en este ámbito, reflexionar sobre los paradigmas que impone la sociedad en relación a los docentes varones dentro de las aulas infantiles y analizar la visión del equipo directivo de las cuatro escuelas municipales. La investigación tuvo un propósito exploratorio y enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, el presente trabajo se llevó a cabo en el municipio de Guaraí-TO. A través de los resultados y discusiones, se observó que la percepción de los directivos, coordinadores y docentes sobre la participación de los profesionales del sexo masculino en la primera etapa de la educación básica/Educación Infantil, se mantiene en uma posición dogmática, ya que las instituciones de educación inicial municipales no no tener profesores varones en su plantilla trabajando en el área.Por muitos anos, a história da educação infantil vem remetendo erroneamente a percepção de que por tratar-se do cuidado com crianças pequenas, o mais eficaz seria que as mulheres o fizessem por serem mais sensíveis a sentimentos. A pesquisa tem por objetivo geral, analisar a percepção de gestores, coordenadores e professores da educação infantil em relação a atuação do sexo masculino nessa etapa de ensino na rede municipal de Guaraí. Além de, identificar quais as possíveis causas relacionadas a ausência de professores do sexo masculino nessa área, refletir sobre os paradigmas que a sociedade impõe em relação aos docentes homens dentro das salas de aulas infantis e analisar a visão da equipe diretiva das quatro escolas municipais. A pesquisa possui propósito exploratório e abordagem qualiquantitativa, o presente trabalho foi realizado no município de Guaraí-TO.
