Resumo: This paper discusses the educational action of the Municipal School Antônio Campos, aiming to understand the success of this institution, located in the neighborhood of Mãe Luiza, Eastern Region of Natal, in the State of Rio Grande do Norte. There are three indicators of success: first place in the National Reference in School Management Award, state stage; 6.5 in the IDEB and without student evasion or repetition. We research guided by Historical and Dialectical Materialism, from the school documents, by the application of the conversational free conversational interview and by the observation of the daily routine of the institution. We conclude that the school routine; the relationship of those responsible for the student with the institution; the evaluate-plan-evaluate triad, accomplished in the systematic accompaniment of the teaching and learning process of the student, are aspects that do not restrict the pedagogical are aspects that do not restrict the pedagogical to the knowledge constructed by the mediation of teaching in the room of knowledge that occur, specifically, in the process of student interaction in the in the classroom, nor is it an exclusive task of this professional. Other authors and actors in the school community also feel involved in the students' school education process. This pedagogical thinking and acting therefore presents itself as a fertile field for a socially referenced school.

Son tres indicadores del éxito: primer lugar en el Premio Nacional Referencia en Gestión Escolar, etapa estadual; 6.5 en el IDEB; y no evasión o repetición de los estudiantes. Investigamos orientados por el Materialismo Histórico y Dialéctico, a partir de los documentos de la escuela, por la aplicación de entrevista libre conversacional y por la observación de la rutina diaria de la institución. Concluimos que la rutina escolar, la relación de los responsables del estudiante con la institución, la tríada evaluar-planear-evaluar, concretada en el acompañamiento continuo y permanente del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje del estudiante, son aspectos que no restringen el pedagógico a los saberes que ocurren , específicamente, en el proceso de interacción alumno y profesor en la clase, ni es una tarea exclusiva de ese profesional. Los autores y actores de la comunidad escolar también se sienten implicados con el proceso de educación escolar de los estudiantes. Este pensar y actuar pedagógico se presenta, por lo tanto, como un campo fértil, para una escuela socialmente referenciada.Este artigo discute a ação educativa escolar da Escola Municipal Antônio Campos, objetivando compreender o sucesso dessa instituição, localizada no bairro de Mãe Luiza, Região Leste do município de Natal, no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte. São três indicadores do sucesso: primeiro lugar no Prêmio Nacional Referência em Gestão Escolar, etapa estadual; 6.5 no IDEB; e não evasão ou repetência dos estudantes. Pesquisamos orientados pelo Materialismo Histórico e Dialético, a partir dos documentos da escola, pela a aplicação de entrevista livre conversacional e pela a observação da rotina diária da instituição. Concluímos que a rotina escolar, a relação dos responsáveis pelo estudante com a instituição, a tríade avaliar-planejar-avaliar, concretizada no acompanhamento contínuo e permanente do processo de ensino e aprendizagem do estudante, são aspectos que não restringem o pedagógico aos saberes que ocorrem, especificamente, no processo de interação aluno e professor na aula, nem é uma tarefa exclusiva desse profissional. Demais autores e atores da comunidade escolar também se sentem implicados com o processo de educação escolar dos estudantes.
