Initial development of reinoculated maize seedlings with diazotrophic bacteria

Resumo: Proved efficiency by Azospirillum brasilense inoculation in maize crop, raises questions about the sequential use of seeds obtained from inoculated plants, that product hormones by bacteria that affect the development of plants in low amount. It aimed to evaluate early development and physiological seed quality reinoculated corn, from cultivation associated with Azospirillum brasilense and nitrogen fertilizer. Experiment was conducted in a randomized block design with factorial 6x2, with six treatments from the previous management of seeds [0, 60 and 120 kg ha-1 N (urea) without inoculation and seed inoculation with A. brasiliense at dose 50, 100 and 150 mL/25 kg of seeds grown with 60 kg ha-1 N], both only with inoculation on previous crop and re-inoculation by maize hybrid seed DKB 285 PRO®. High dose inoculum of A. brasilense (150 ml + 60 kg N ha-1) in the previous crop can be reduced germination and early development, on the other hand, reinoculation reestablish physiological quality and emergence of the seedlings. Inoculation with 100 ml of inoculant + 60 kg ha-1 N followed by reinoculation with A. brasilense stands out in the initial development of maize seedlings for crop rotation. Reinoculated maize seeds with A. brasilense promotes greater root development maize seedlings, increasing surface by roots to water and nutrients absorb from soil, but reduce shoot development.

El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar el desarrollo inicial, así como la calidad fisiológica de las semillas de maíz reinoculadas del cultivo asociado con Azospirillum brasilense y la fertilización con nitrógeno. El experimento se llevó a cabo en un diseño de bloque aleatorizado con factorial 6x2, seis tratamientos de la gestión previa de semillas [0, 60 y 120 kg ha-1 de N (urea) sin inoculación e inoculación de semillas con A. brasiliense  a la dosis 50, 100 y 150 mL/25kg de semillas cultivadas con 60 kg de ha-1 de N], ambas sólo con inoculación realizada en el cultivo anterior y reinoculación de las semillas de maíz híbridas DKB 285 PRO®. Alta dosis de inoculante A. brasilense (150 mL + 60 Kg N ha-1) en el cultivo anterior puede haber reduce lagerminación y el desarrollo inicial, especialmente para el reinocular, se da un restablecimiento de la emergencia y la calidad fisiológica de las plántulas. Inoculación con 100 mL de inoculante + 60 kg ha-1 de N seguida de reinoculación con A. brasilense destaca en el desarrollo inicial de plántulas de maíz para cultivos sucesivos.  Las semillas de maíz reinoculadas con A. brasilense promueven un mayor desarrollo radicular de las plántulas de maíz, expandiendo la superficie para la sorción de nutrientes del agua y del suelo, pero reduce el desarrollo para brotes.A eficiência comprovada da inoculação de Azospirillum brasilense na cultura de milho, traz dúvidas sobre o uso sequencial em sementes obtidas de plantas previamente inoculadas, devido produção de hormônios pelas bactérias, que interferem no desenvolvimento das plantas em baixa quantidade. O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar desenvolvimento inicial bem como qualidade fisiológica de sementes milho reinoculadas, provenientes do cultivo associado com Azospirillum brasilense e adubação nitrogenada. O experimento foi realizado em delineamento de blocos casualizados com fatorial 6x2, sendo seis tratamentos provenientes do manejo anterior das sementes [0, 60 e 120 kg ha-1 de N (ureia) sem inoculação e inoculação das sementes com A. brasiliense na dose 50, 100 e 150 mL/25kg de sementes cultivadas com 60 kg ha-1 de N], tanto unicamente com inoculação realizada no cultivo anterior e reinoculação das sementes de milho híbrido DKB 285 PRO®. Dose elevada de inoculante A. brasilense (150 mL + 60 Kg N ha-1) no cultivo anterior pode ter reduz germinação e desenvolvimento inicial, sobretudo, ao reinocular, há reestabelecimento da emergência e qualidade fisiológica das plântulas. A inoculação com 100 mL de inoculante + 60 kg ha-1 de N seguida de reinoculação com A. brasilense se destaca no desenvolvimento inicial de plântulas de milho para cultivos sucessivos.
