Application of HazOp technique as a risk management tool in a beverage distributor

Resumo: This study used in a way connected to the hazop methodology, with the objective to analyze and identify risks, and its causes and consequences  proposing improvements in one of the sectors of a beverage distributor, so, the activities developed in this sector were mapped and divided into the so-called study - nodes  used to obtain better understanding and viabilization of the development of work, after the causes and consequences through the application of the brainstorming quality tool, in addition, the risks were qualitatively classified according to the method of the risk matrix. After the end of the study, the results appointed the human factor as responsible for the majority of deviations in the distributor and the factor training as a question to be improved, once it is necessary that many deviations are associated with the lack of training, that way, using the 5W1H quality tool, it developed an action plan for controlling risk levels.

After the end of the study, the results appointed the human factor as responsible for the majority of deviations in the distributor and the factor training as a question to be improved, once it is necessary that many deviations are associated with the lack of training, that way, using the 5W1H quality tool, it developed an action plan for controlling risk levels.Este estudio utilizó la metodología HAZOP (Hazard And Operability Study) de forma adaptada, con el fin de analizar e identificar los riesgos, así como sus causas y consecuencias, proponiendo mejoras en uno de los sectores de un distribuidor de bebidas.  Así, las actividades desarrolladas en este sector fueron mapeadas y divididas en los denominados nodos de estudio para obtener una mejor comprensión y viabilización del desarrollo del trabajo.  Posteriormente, se verificaron las causas y consecuencias, mediante la aplicación de la herramienta de calidad Brainstorming.  Además, los riesgos se clasificaron cualitativamente según el método de la matriz de riesgos.  Tras finalizar el estudio, los resultados apuntaron al factor humano como responsable de la mayoría de las desviaciones en el distribuidor, y al factor de formación como un tema a mejorar, ya que se destaca que muchos desvíos están asociados a la falta de formación.  De esta forma, utilizando la herramienta de calidad 5W1H, se desarrolló un plan de acción mediante el cual sería posible controlar los niveles de riesgo. Aún explorando resultados, existía la necesidad de desarrollar trabajos futuros, como la aplicación de la metodología hazop en otros sectores de la empresa y la aplicación del método RULA (Rapid Upper Limber Assessment).Este estudo utilizou de maneira adaptada a metodologia HAZOP (Hazard And Operability Study), com o objetivo de analisar e identificar riscos, bem como suas causas e consequências, propondo melhorias em um dos setores de uma distribuidora de bebidas. Assim, as atividades desenvolvidas nesse setor foram mapeadas e divididas nos chamados nós-de-estudo para obter uma melhor compreensão e viabilização do desenvolvimento do trabalho. Posteriormente, verificou-se as causas e consequências, através da aplicação da ferramenta da qualidade Brainstorming. Além disso, os riscos foram classificados qualitativamente de acordo com o método da matriz de risco. Após a finalização do estudo, os resultados apontaram o fator humano como o responsável pela maioria dos desvios na distribuidora, e o fator treinamento como uma questão a ser aperfeiçoada, uma vez que é notável que muitos desvios estão associados à falta de treinamento. Dessa maneira, através da ferramenta da qualidade 5W1H, elaborou-se um plano de ação pelo qual seria possível controlar os níveis de risco.
