Resumo: Objective: Bronchial and lung cancer (CP) is a highly lethal disease. It is usually detected in advanced stages, since the symptoms of the disease are not detected in the early stages. The elderly population for having longer exposure to factors such as consumption of tobacco derivatives, becoming more susceptible to this type of cancer. To identify the clinical-epidemiological profile of the elderly with Bronchial and Lung Cancer in Pará between the years 2014 to 2018. Methodology: This is an exploratory and quantitative study, with a descriptive design. The research was carried out in August 2020, with information available in the Hospital Cancer Registry Computerization System (SisRHC) regarding mortality from lung and bronchial cancer in the state of Pará in the period from 2014 to 2018. Results: It was found the total of 461 cases of bronchial and lung cancer in the state of Pará between 2014 to 2018, with a predominance of the age group from 60 to 69 years old, male, mixed race, incomplete elementary level and married marital status, it was observed that 287 (62%) were ex-consumers. In relation to alcoholism, it was found that in 192 (42%) of the cases did not have information or there was no evaluation and 262 (57%) of the cases did not present information about the family history of cancer. Conclusion: It was found that smoking is the main influence to develop and increase cases of bronchial and lung cancer, even with a national tobacco control program, offered by the Ministry of Health, it has a relevant resistance by users.

Suele detectarse en etapas avanzadas, ya que los síntomas de la enfermedad no se detectan en etapas tempranas. La población anciana tiene más exposición a factores como el consumo de productos del tabaco, lo que los hace más susceptibles a este tipo de cáncer. Identificar el perfil clínico-epidemiológico de los ancianos con Cáncer de Bronquio y Pulmón en Pará entre los años 2014 a 2018. Metodología: Se trata de un estudio exploratorio y cuantitativo, con un diseño descriptivo. La investigación se realizó en agosto de 2020, con información disponible en el Sistema de Informatización del Registro Hospitalario de Cáncer (SisRHC) sobre la mortalidad por cáncer de pulmón y bronquial en el estado de Pará en el período de 2014 a 2018. Resultados: Se encontró el total de 532 casos de cáncer de bronquios y pulmón en el estado de Pará entre 2014 y 2018, con predominio del grupo de edad de 60 a 69 años, masculino, mestizo, nivel elemental incompleto y estado civil casado. En relación al tabaquismo, se encontró la prevalencia de exfumadores, que no presentaron información o no hubo valoración sobre alcoholismo y no presentaron información sobre antecedentes familiares de cáncer. Conclusión: Se encontró que el tabaquismo es la principal influencia para desarrollar y aumentar los casos de cáncer de bronquios y pulmón, aun con un programa nacional de control del tabaco, ofrecido por el Ministerio de Salud, tiene una resistencia relevante por parte de los usuarios.Objetivo: O câncer de Brônquio e pulmão (CP) é uma doença altamente letal. Geralmente é detectado em estádios avançados, uma vez que a sintomatologia da doença não é detectada nos estádios iniciais. A população idosa por ter mais tempo exposição a fatores como consumo dos derivados do tabaco, tornando-se mais susceptível a esse tipo de câncer. Identificar o perfil clínico-epidemiológico do idoso com Câncer de Brônquio e Pulmão no Pará entre os anos de 2014 a 2018. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo do tipo exploratório e quantitativo, com o delineamento descritivo. A pesquisa foi realizada no mês de agosto de 2020, com informações disponíveis no Sistema de Informatização de Registro Hospitalar de Câncer (SisRHC) referente a mortalidade por câncer de pulmão e brônquio no estado do Pará no período de 2014 a 2018. Resultados: Foi encontrado o total de 532 casos de câncer de brônquio e pulmão no estado do Pará entre 2014 a 2018, com o predomínio da faixa etária de 60 a 69 anos, sexo masculino, raça parda, nível fundamental incompleto e estado conjugal casado. Já em relação ao tabagismo, constatou-se a prevalência de ex tabagistas, que não apresentavam informações ou não houve avaliação sobre etilismo e não apresentaram informações acerca do histórico familiar de câncer.
